He's referring to the part in "Surprise" where Xander tells Cordy and Willow to meet back in half an hour to put his plan to action. They didn't actually break into the armery untill the next night.

When I saw your first post I wasn't sure if you were related to Aly, so I checked one of her recent articles in which I remembered she named a bunch of male relatives...and there you were. And if Aly never meant for you to know bout that article, I appologize to her and PRAY she'll forgive me! :) :) So did she convert you, or were you always a fan? Okay, I'm sure most of you know, just posting it anyway: Tony will be doing an asylum chat on Tuesday. So get your RealPlayer working and mark your calanders, people! Hopefully the questions will be better this time. Maybe someone answered my werewolf question, but I didn't see. Does anyone know from previous werewolf stuff how hard one has to be bitten to become a werewolf? So all I have to say is that I liked the episode, although I hate two parters, because of the wait; and that if in some future episode Joss dicides to restore Angel's soul, it will be very hard for a lot of viewers, and the characters on the show to forgive him for what he did. Even though Buffy loved him, I can't see that relationship ever taking off again... that is if Joss is trying to portray any sort of realiy in the script. The jock kept his homosexuality a secret, he didn't think he could tell anyone, and he was a rude, annoying person. Once he was more open about it, with himself and with someone (Xander) who he thought was sympathetic, he became a nicer person. Oz kept secret the fact that he was a werewolf, he didn't know how to tell Willow and the others. As a result, he jeopardized both his relationship with Willow and her life. Once Oz was more open about it with Willow, their relationship went along nicely. Buffy's speech at the end about how to treat Oz, just treat him like a person despite his being a werewolf, also applies to the jock's being gay. So there's a general message of openness and tolerance in the episode. Like other teen situations on "Buffy" that get metaphored as supernatural events, Oz is a metaphor for a teen who discovers that he's gay; the gay jock was there to make the metaphor more explicit. Or at least that's my theory. Tape 1 has Aly's panel (1 that I've seen most of so far, but not sure if the 2nd one is on there..), this panel could be called AKA Aly and Sonja have a Conversation (mainly cause no one was really asking anything so I asked alot so Aly wouldn't get bored or upset no one was asking anything.. I think the same thing happened for her 2nd panel, but I don't really remember. Unfortunately they miss alot of the audience questions, but I believe I have all of it on audio, so I may be able to help who ever transcribes it. They have some footage of Tony and Aly at the Dance on Tape 2 before Tony sings "Sweet Transvestite", even have a little bit of a impromptu photo shoot with Tony, my friend Miriam (*Sonja waves at Mir*) and me. Then the great footage of Tony singing, and I finally found out what Tony was doing when his back was to me during the DJ's lines as "Brad"(he was trying to get a Dancing Taz on, and when that didn't work, he held the mike to the Taz like it was going to sing, Okaay Tony! :)). Then there is some footage of Tony and I dancing, kinda dark, but yeah it's us :) Watch Tony whip me around! Then they have the celebrity auction, where Tony, Aly and Armin help auction stuff off in. Tony is way funny, Aly is totally Shy, and Armin is humourous. I lost 2 bidding wars on Tony and Buffy related items :( I lost them to fellow GASPers even! Christian Ready, the astronomer (sp?) at one point puts card right in my face, forcing me backwards, I was not amused. Then they have the panel of the 3 A's right afterwards, and it's pretty funny. I asked two questions, how Tony got his earring and what was the wierdest thing a Buffy fan has ever asked them. Becky Dorrie is going to transcribe the panel for the ASH-GASP list when she gets her copies (don't know if she plans to include Aly and Armin's repsonses that aren't connected to what Tony says though), and since I have the audio copy and have stuff the video misses I'll be helping her fill in stuff (I don't have time to do the transcribtion myself). They have other non-Buffy related stuff, but it's a pretty good thing to have your collection if you're a big fan of either of the A's. There is 2 videos total, one is 8 hrs and the other is 6hrs. The cost is $35 total unless you put a down payment on it at the Con ($10), then it's only $25. This also covers postage. I mean, Sarah is on a bit of a roll now, but isn't this somewhat premature? She hasn't been the main star of any feature films yet, and her TV series is only in its second season and barely breaks the national top 100 in ratings. Is this really a "rise to fame" yet? (Leno barely seemed to know who she was on her first appearance on his show a few months back). I suppose her old AMC role and the daytime Emmy count for something (though that award isn't considered as prestigious as a primetime Emmy). And I love the work she's done so far, but I'd almost rather she wait until her career is more ironclad to start crankin' out the biographies (assuming this one is authorized, that is). Plus I'm superstitious and don't want her to invite a jinx! Friends star Matthew Perry is involved in a love triangle with two of the hottest actresses in Hollywood. He's casually been dating Sarah Michelle Gellar (she stars in TV's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the movie Scream 2) Recently Sarah had a dinner party and she introduced Matthew to her Scream 2 co-star Neve Campbell, who also stars in TV's Party of Five. He got her number, and they started dating. When Sarah found out she stopped speaking to both of them.Matthew felt awful and asked Courtney Cox,who co-stars with both girls in the blockbuster horror flick, to try to patch things up but Courtney refuses to get involved. So now Matthew's seeing Neve, and Sarah wants nothing to do with either of them. That is exactly what is said, word for word. If you dont believe me, then please dont send me e-mails telling me Im crazy or a liar, because I am not out to tell you false things. I do this newsletter because I WANT to, and I love doing it. So please keep your harsh comments to yourselves. To all of you that do believe me, thank you. X X X X X X X X If the intention of the curse was to make Angel suffer, then losing his soul should be a temporary thing after all Angel doesn't really suffer while he doesn't have his soul. Perhaps, the curse was designed to take the soul away at his "moment of happiness" then return it - making him suffer even more than before. Although to make the curse prolonged, the method by which he would lose his soul next time would have to be different so he wouldn't be able to avoid anything that would make him happy. Or the degree of happiness required to lose his soul could lessen over time??? This would allow for the return of the good Angel but keep the danger of a returning bad Angel a constant threat. Then in the Hollween episode when Spike is about to bite Buffy she returns to her normal self and beats the living hell out of Spike. I think the only reason this happened is because of the element of surprise Buffy had when Spike pulled her hair and it came off. Then in "Whats My Line pt2" Buffy really didn't beat Spike, the couple of tons of wood that feel on him did. So I do think Spike could kill Buffy. The last thing I wanted to bring up, if the vampires want to kill Buffy so bad then why to the always fight her in hand to hand combat, wouldn't it make more senses to just wait till she goes to the Bronze some night and when she is inside walk in with a Colt M-16 or an AK-47 and just open fire on the whole place. Come on, if your close with either of these wepons she would be hit, and if you didn't her, you could just bring along a sidearm to finish the hit. - - ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 01 Feb 1998 19:59:04 -0500 From: Nicole DiPatrizio Subject: [Fwd: BUFFY: Angel's Curse and Where's his soul (THEORY)] This is a multi-part message in MIME format. - --------------E33F6EBF7B1B42FC613CE255 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit - --------------E33F6EBF7B1B42FC613CE255 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Message-ID: <34D4D833.8C5C58C2@ibm.net> Date: Sun, 01 Feb 1998 15:16:52 -0500 From: Nicole DiPatrizio X-Mailer: Mozilla 4.04 [en] (Win95; I) MIME-Version: 1.0 To: Evan Harris Subject: Re: BUFFY: Angel's Curse and Where's his soul (THEORY) References: <34D497BA.C0685FAB@ozemail.com.au> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Evan Harris wrote: > I can't recall if theories need spoiler space or not, so I through in a > few lines just in case. i too never know...its better to be safe than sorry i guess..... > > > X > X > X > X > X > X > X > X > > If the intention of the curse was to make Angel suffer, then losing his > soul should be a temporary thing after all Angel doesn't really suffer > while he doesn't have his soul. true, but when angel met buffy ha was happy. that was not the plan at all! having a soul was supposed to make him suffer in that he could not kill human beings, therefore, not being able to eat, soon they all thought he woul die. thank goodness he didn't though. i guess they never knew that vampires could actually live 242 years off of pigs and rats...(and some late night stealings at the blood bank) > > > Perhaps, the curse was designed to take the soul away at his "moment of > happiness" then return it - making him suffer even more than before. > Although to make the curse prolonged, the method by which he would lose > his soul next time would have to be different so he wouldn't be able to > avoid anything that would make him happy.
