They threw together a lot of stuff ("Lily" for example) and got most of what needed resolution resolved, while still opening up (and keeping open) plot threads for the future. Maybe not the flashiest, most immediately fulfilling of eps, but most definitely a very good precursor to season three. For example: - -Did anybody notice that teacher (when the two guys are running down the hall)? I thought right away that he would be cannon fodder for the premiere, but no. - -People are starting to notice, and talk about, all the "mysterious deaths". Should make life interesting for the Scooby Gang. - -They did a really good job in getting the sexual tension going for this season. Anyway I could go on, but you all get the point. Hmmmm... "You don't hide - you're bait. Go act bait-y." " What's the plan?" "The vampire attacks you." "And then what?" The vampire kills you. We watch, we rejoice." And you are?" I knew she was going to say something good. She had that pissed look. - -The Gahndi thing. - -The ending where Buffy came home. What I didn't like: - -The new theme song. I liked the old one way better. The new credits were cool tho. - -Joyce. She'll probably be less annoying this season, but I still wish she had gotten slaughtered in a horrible and bloody way instead of Jenny in Passion. I mean the "I blame you" thing was way harsh. Nobody messes with my Giles! - -My exact words "Since when did they move Hell to Detroit?" I mean, come on, a _steel_ mill? On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 8.
