I would think schools would >take those whose scores are not as high (i.e. Willow) but work really hard. SAT's (Scholastic Aptitude Test) scores are pretty important for getting accepted at a very good college. The Admission's Department of a college or university consider both the SAT scores and Grade Point Average. Grade Point Average breaks down into roughly this: 1. 4.0 = A or Excellent 2. 3.0 = B or Very Good 3. 2.0 = C or Average (Forget Harvard!) 4. 1.0 = D or Poor (Take up a trade) 5. 0.0 = F or Failure (Apply to Hot Dog on a Stick) Now, if Buffy got something like a 1438 combined total on her SAT's that is PHENOMENAL! I mean, she could think about going to just about anywhere provided that her grade point average is around at least a B or higher. She might still be able to swing getting into a great college if she is C average if a number of teachers and/or counselors write her letters of recommendations. Could happen, if I'm not wrong, right? But, I can't see her getting into a super college if her average was below C even with those kind of high test scores. So, you could say SAT's are pretty important for those planning to attend college. If Buffy only maintained a C average for her 4 years at Sunnydale High, I would assume that it was due to lack of her applying herself to her studies because no one gets such a high SAT score like 1438 unless they had the brains and ability to do 'A' work in the class in the first place. Naturally, saving the world, fighting demons, training to do all those things might be a legitimate excuse. To offer some Buffy-relevant personal experience, Buffy's SAT doesn't necessarily GUARANTEE a particular college of her choice; I applied to MIT back then, and didn't get in. Spike is my *absolute* favorite character! He's hilarious! This was, by far, the best episode of the season! And, not only because Spike came back, but because the other plotlines going on around his return were fantastic! I loved watching the Oz/Willow/Xander/Cordelia triangle unfold. I'm happy that Willow's decided to try and stay w/Oz. They make the cutest couple! I didn't miss Faith that much. I was kinda glad that she wasn't in this episode. I hated her last week! I wonder how her and Angel are going to react to each other when they meet again? It'll be interesting. And, don't take this the wrong way, but I enjoyed the episode w/out Giles. I love Giles, but it was nice to see the gang have to fend on their own for awhile. I hope that Xander and Cordy get back together. They made alot of the comedic moments on the show, and I liked them together. Joss was just starting to show us the softer side of Cordy, and I liked it. We saw that she truly does love Xander. The scene w/Buffy and Angel at the end killed me. But, I don't think they're gonna be able to stay away from each other. It's not that easy to stay from somone that you love. I can't wait until Angel meets up w/the gang again. So far, we haven't really seen them all together and talking, ya know? I, also, can't wait for Spike's next retun w/Drusilla by his side!
