To my untrained eye, today was a distribution day. In fact I think possibly it is the third, 10/17,10/18,10/23, also I was looking at some of the good looking break outs and it appears there are a large number of failures. I am sure that someone is doing great right now, but I don't really have he experience to do very well in this confusing market. I am a big believer in CANSLIM but at the moment perhaps there are some bargains to be had in some beaten down stocks. WON emphasizes M, I guess I am confused about what M is really doing. I thought that at least one major market index had to be down 1% (or 2% depending if the new rules apply to distribution) on heavier vol than the day before in order for it to be a distribution day. Not that I'm disputing you; my account definitely distributed some of my wealth today! The low point of the handle which was made on 10-18 at a price of 37.80 occurred at the intersection of two Gann angle lines and the 50 day moving average. These are very powerful technical indicators of strong support for the stock at this price level. Price action can often move much higher from these types of support levels. I am a buyer if it moves thru the pivot. By the way the fundies are really good too.
