LLUR (Lower Left Upper Right) is kind of an "insider term" here, although WON does talk about the pattern. Basically it's a straight line, with little volatility, at a consistent upward angle. The trick to investing in a LLUR is to keep a close eye on how closely the stock keeps to the 50d ma. If it deviates markedly away from that ma, it may be time to get out. See DLX for a typical chart. Warren David Gerber wrote: > Hi, > > > > My name is Dave Gerber. Tom, I set the = following scan in DGO=20 and uncovered 73 gems, was totally surprised at how high the EPS = & RS=20 ratings are. Thanks for your help, just what the doctor=20 ordered.

Earnings Per Share (EPS)=20 Rating Greater than or = equal to:=20 50
Relative Price Strength (RS)=20 Rating Greater than or = equal to:=20 80
% of Stock Owned by Mutual=20 Funds Less than or = equal to:=20 10

Gene,

Micro and really, really small "small = caps" are my=20 favorites. I review daily a list of stocks hitting new highs = that day,=20 using Marketwatch at the CBS site. My basic parameters are = volume of=20 1000 to 500,000 shares traded that day, price from $2 to $20, = market cap=20 up to several hundred million (depending on your preference), = and=20 trailing PE of 1 to 100.

For CANSLIM criteria, I want RS at least = over 80,=20 but preferably well over 90. I will accept EPS ranking down to = about 50=20 or so, but only if I can vocalize why earnings per share is = ready to=20 accelerate. I personally prefer funds ownership in the low = single digits=20 to zero (I like to be smarter and quicker than the average small = cap=20 fund manager), with management ownership well into double = digits. I have=20 had some of my better results with management owning over 50% of = the=20 issue.

While I like ROE well into double = digits, I have=20 had many winners where it was in the low single digits when I = first=20 bought it.

HI Tom, I thought it might have been an = acquisition,=20 but then I dug into the

is it was growth, pure = and=20 simple (I personally don't like Karaoke, but I

SMD thinks they can continue to grow in = the US=20 (it would be great if they

by the way, I had some other = issues=20 with the Balance Sheet, like the huge

most or = all of the=20 receivables)

"sounds" good to me
