Not a big deal and I understand, except they made it so secure that sometimes if Windows crashes, locks up or does anything to the registry you have to call and get it reset. Adding new hardware makes it think it is on a different computer. Add an extra cd or dvd drive and it will only work on the one installed. Move the CD to a different drive assignment and it won't work at all. Do a system restore from a previous date and you have to get it reset. Don't dream of doing anything with a new hard drive. It really can be a pain at times. When I'm paying for something on a subscription basis I don't like to be inconvenienced. So it bothers me. I called to talk to them about it and they don't seem to care. Also they will only reset it 4 times a month. I also think that since I'm paying for it I should be able to use it on my laptop. Hi Hamid,

I too am a subscriber to cwhcharts.com.  I find the tools available there just right for a canslimer, both from a charting point of view and a fundies point of view.  I personally find the CE page just awesome.

I also really like the fact that CwH patterns are found automatically by computer, greatly minimizing the number of stocks for which you need to do due diligence, and hence reducing the time to find good candidates.  Since I have a day job (and what I think is a life J) time saving is essential, and cwhcharts.com is well worth the cost in this regard.

I have been on this email list for a couple of months but have not joined in the discussion. I did email a question a couple of days ago and no response so I am thinking that maybe I need to formally announce myself. I am not currently a CANLIM investor (nor do I do any other method of investing on my own). I don't have the confidence at this point and am not sure what to method I want to pursue. I have read WON's book (although not in while) and have subscribed to his paper in the past so I have some familiarity with his philosophy. I am a member of AAII and know that they fairly recently compared and reviewed a number of investing mythologies and had good results for CANSLIM. I am trying to determine what services and or software might be worthwhile subscribing to. I have looked at cwhcharts.com and it does look interesting and Katherine seems very knowledgeable as well as generous with her knowledge and time. For anyone who does subscribe cwhcharts.com ( or any others) how long you have subscribed and what kind of results you have had. As well is anyone familiar with the software program FastTrack? Can CANSLIM be applied to mutual funds as well?
