If you're using Eudora, use the Change Password option which is located in the Special menu (I think). Otherwise, you will need to log onto the Xmission host (use a telnet client like ewan or Win95's telnet if you're using Windows) and change your password there. -Fozz ============================================================================= Doran L. It is very hard to say for sure without having some more information... but I would immagine that you need to change the password you use on xmission. this needs to be done every four? months to keep things more secure here on xmission. A second guess is that (assuming you are using a pop client, not shell such as pine or elm) the password in your email program does not matchc the one you are using on xmission. The downside is you can't see all the graphics of the web this way. While you can still access it with a text browser, by using the command "lynx". Now X modem is a single file only transfer.
