Oh dear I'm going to have to admit to being a anal nerd, and actually having an excel database that has recorded the week by week chart positions for all their singles from 87 to 91, BUT only for the NME indie charts. I think I did write down all the NME main chart positions at the same time, I could look in a notebook, but I never put them in the database, I think I must have got bored ... or then again maybe it was because the NME main charts are NOT the same as the official BBC ones and there aren't that many singles that made the main charts as opposed to the indie charts where every one made it, and often there was more than one single in the chart at the same time. So anyway does anyone want a copy of the database emailed to them? Its an old Excel so little worry, but I can also save as a tab-delinated ascii too.
