I picked up 5 copies, 3 for friends (also with a shit taste in music) but the other 2 are available if anyone wants them £4 inc p&p in the U.K. should cover it. First come first served and all that. The bloke in the shop was really helpfull and knew all about the KLF and also tried to persuade me to sell him my SPACE album, needless to say I declined! I also bought History of the JAMs for £12.99, I don't know if this is cheap, I just did'nt have it. I also bought a double CD and booklet called TRANCE EUROPE EXPRESS for £2.99!!!! which is excellent. It features the ORB, MOODY BOYZ, and APHEX TWIN etc with good interviews with all. Tony Thorpe mentions the KLF. They also have ORBLIVION on cd for £2.99 and vinyl for 99p!!!! They have their on distribution company which I think is how they get stuff so cheap. The guy said they probably could post things but I think you'd have to spend a bit more than £2.99 as they're not actually a mail order company. Tony Thorpe mentions the KLF. Not a bad cd, though the AFX track is just noise really. Have a listen to the barabrella track on the second cd for awesome tune - lovely synth stuff - ambinet trance? *grin* on the subject of interesting cds, has anyone heard Ned's Atomic Dustbin 5.22 album (a compilation of odd tracks i think). It includes a track where the NEDs are trying very hard to sound like the KLF (stadium house triology any way) - very odd - lots of sampled crowd noise and stuff... # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Jun 1998 14:54:49 +0200 (METDST) From: Bert Klauninger Subject: (klf) MP3 Site Hello! Well, I found out that I'm going to be a father very soon (THAT'S a scary thought...). So, I'm getting rid of a few cds (including a few duplicate Orb items that I've acquired) mainly because I'm under the impression that raising a child can be relatively expensive...an impression that I'm fairly sure is correct. In other words, I'm desperate for some cash. ;-) Some of these MAY be of interest to y'all.... Orb - Orbscure Trax (mint condition)...taking bids on this one (I swore to God--as well as several list members--that I would NEVER do that (which means I'm probably going to Hell), but the reason WHY I'm doing it is listed in the paragraph above....) :-( Orb - Toxygene--US cd5...this isn't rare, but I'd be willing to trade it for something else that's not rare (since my "purchasing" days are over for a while), perhaps the Orb remix of Tangerine Dream's "Toward the Evening Star" Orb - Toxygene--US 2 track promo...this is the one I posted about the other day. Apparently a rare item, but I'm not a "collector," so interested parties make an offer... catalog # PRCD 7432-2 KLF - What Time is Love?
