But I was surprised to find in today's copuy of the NME a review of 'Via Viagra' by THE JAMS, on white label, without hearing anything about it on this list. So as the review points out it is absolutely nothing to do with Drummond and Cauty, but does indeed freaturesamples from 1987. Does anyone have a clue about this one? rgds CHris # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 29 Jul 1998 07:53:16 PDT From: "David Lindgren" Subject: Re: (klf) Documentary on Tammy tonight 1900h Hello everybody, >Tonight I have read there is a documentary on Tammy Wynette on BBC Radio>2 in the UK at 1900h. The Guardian newspaper says it has an interview>with, amongst others, Bill Drummond. Well did anyone see this, if yes, what did he say? I went to see Dee Snider ( from Twisted Sister) last week, GREAT appearance by the way... Anyway the same night before DEEs app. the DJ played a dancetrack that sounded quite familiar. The track was `an ordinary dancetrack` but with the guitar and vocals from " ace of spades ", the same guitarsound that our band sampled on A:WTIL..... From the review, it could be that the reviewer is a member of this list!! As a final point - was there not a list member who lived near that **** Dutton? I seem to recall that someone went round his house and soon after got his stuff. The episode I was watching was called "Vollmond" and I was very surprised when I noticed that they used LAST TRAIN TO TRANCENTRAL (THE IRON HORSE MIX) as backgroundmusic for a scene in a club. This series is a new german production, so why did they use such an old track??? I am quite sure there must be some KLF-fans at RTL ;-). Hope they will show this one again so that I can tape it... very strange?!? oki, I need an other beer... On the same subject i think, i didn't thought that i'll post it to the list but this email inspired me to do so i guess... Anyway, i was watching some TV show on the Israeli science channel (the show wasn't made in Israel tho), the show was about vegetarian people (which i am btw). There was a part that they showed some famous people that are vegetarian and in the background they played "Jerusalem On The Moors"! And at the end of show they thank "The JAMMs").
