For those Orbular fans on this list, I did just happen to use a couple of Type II cassettes to tape-record the whole show (though Alex didn't do a full three hours- the show started about fifteen minutes late and the last half hour or so was by a Melbourne guy), if you have inclinations towards trading for such artifacts at all...do feel free to mail me privately. Sorry if I'm late with this comment, I've been offline for some weeks, but IFPI really is an existing organisation. Some years ago I worked at a radio station, and we payed IFPI and three more organisations (SAMI, NCB and STIM which all are local Swedish organisations) money for every minute of music played on the air. In Sweden, SAMI collects royalties on behalf of the artists, STIM on behalf of the authors/composers and IFPI on behalf of the record companies. NCB is involved when using music in ads. IFPI is an international organisation, and the other treee mentioned in this mail are local Swedish ones that cooperate with similar organisations in other countries (like ASCAP and BMI in the US). anders - ------------------------------ http://www.algonet.se/~anders/ # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 12 Oct 1998 10:59:58 +0100 (BST) From: ee52kt@ee.surrey.ac.uk (Kyle M Thompson) Subject: Re: (klf) MP3 AND LAW (www.soundbyting.com) U> (I think they're the US analogue to the MCPS). it's analogy you fool # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 12 Oct 1998 12:13:08 +0200 From: Johan Hedberg Subject: (klf) T-shirts! --> Latest update Back again.
