They are being shipped right this moment and I must say that they look great. The reason for the last two weeks silence from me is that a person very close related to me is suffering from brain-cancer and has been hospitalized for the last three weeks. The doctors don't think she will be able to enjoy the next summer. Right now I'm spending all the time that I'm able in the hospital and therefor the shirts have not gotten my fully attention. I hope that you understand this and that you'll appreciate the t-shirts. The last t-shirts to be shipped are the shirts to my fellow scandinavians. I think that it's fair that you receive them at almost the same date no matter where in the world you may live. Any questions can of course be mailed to me as usual, but I won't be at work more than an hour or so every day and it can take me a day or two to reply. The single will cost either 1.99, 2.99 or 3.99 UKP; hopefully 1.99 but maybe 2.99, it's unlikely to be 3.99. This converts as (approximately) $3.40, $5.10 or $6.80. Posting a CD airmail to the US (takes about a week to arrive, give or take) costs me 1.21UKP plus about 0.50 for the padded envelope, which comes to about $2.90. This means the total will probably be $6.30 or $8 depending on what the record shops decided to sell it for. This will become $9.70 after next week, when the shops put their prices up. A friend of mine in the US will collect US$ on my behalf, so I'd ask you to send a cheque or a money order to him; I'll send those details once people contact me. I'm not making any profit out of this (you can check my prices), it's just a convenient way of getting some of my 'funds' converted to US$ without any conversion charges, and hopefully it'd work out well for some of you too. I haven't got my WROST yet, so i can't comment on the CD, but if i remember correctly, the tape version i had of it had a hole in 3AM i think, and a coupla other problems.... I always assumed they were on the original demo tape that these come from. I'm sure in the archive there will be a tracklisting of what was going on the CD, and maybe there will be a description of the track problems there?? - -- --- I wish you a hopeful Christmas I wish you a brave New Year All anguish, pain and sadness Leave your heart and let your road be clear They said there'd be snow at Christmas They said there'd be peace on Earth Hallelular, Noel, be it heaven or hell The Christmas we get we deserve. # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Jan 1999 02:27:48 EST From: TheMgnt@aol.com Subject: Re: (klf) WR OST > One question though ; is the primal megamix edited or smthg ? This mix also showed up on Dutton's Arkive cd (yes, I actually managed to get something out of him, but he skipped out on my second order). I believe it's from a work tape, or at least it sounds like it. Most likely a test edit for a proper remix that was never done. - -paul # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Jan 1999 02:45:25 EST From: TheMgnt@aol.com Subject: Re: (klf) WR OST > > I was wondering if everyone else's copy has the big glitch in "3 AM Eternal" > > and the little one in "No More Tears" (during Bill's "All I ever wanted" bit). > > Yeah, i have a big glitch in 3am too...I didnt catch the little one in No > more tears, so it must be very little. My original version of the demos had a glitch (like a tape screw up) during Tears, and a chunk missing from Fire. Whiggys were complete. The tape that Marshall used sounds like it, at least, had the glitch I had in Tears but it was edited out. Haven't had the chance to give the disk a proper listen to yet (I just got it today! After two years! I really need to see when I originally wrote out that check to see how close it was). - -paul # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Jan 1999 01:42:05 PST From: "Regis Phelan" Subject: (klf) Ebay stuff - JAMS Please drop by and see my auctions http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=59178989 http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=59180113 I am not on the list so any questions - mail me Thanks Regis _______________________________________________________ Get your free, private email at http://mail.excite.com/ # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ End of klf-digest V2 #176 *************************
