Most of that stuff is pre WWW, and often inaccurate and badly ordered, but there may be a few gems in there that are not on Mancentral. Sorry I can't remember how to access it, it was so long ago, but our Czech friend, the archive builder seemed to have accessed it lately, maybe he'd know. This means that 4 of the tracks on JAMSLP2 are updates/ takes on the lyrics of old soul songs. The sample list says this about Disaster Fund: in the closing bars there is a distinctive trumpet line. is that a Sunset People sample? > (instrumental version of Prestwich... also features "Yes We Can Can" by the Staple Singers) aha > The "Shag times" inlay also mentions Conway Twitty, Del Shannonn and George Shearing so listen out for those too. possibly I didn't include them in the sample list because I did the list by song rather than LP. I am not sure that this is correct. I mean, it sounds just the same, but then it is possible that the Bingoboys had sampled it as well. However, I always thought it was their singer, Princessa. But this album was released in 1991, and I thought these demo sessions were a while before that. Do we actually know when they were done? For those interested, there is an mp3 of the Bingoboys' version on my klf page, for a limited time only. http://www.klf.cx/bingo/ (~720kB) The track is credited to T. Lewis, J.
