HOWEVER, (soz for shouting, dramatic intentions only), over a year after i've lent dear mr marek from poland my treasured and long built up vid collection, he appears to have disappeared into the darkness - together with the vids. his email address and website are now no longer (www.rezist.com) . now i know a few other people on the list had dealings with him - have you heard back from him since ? did you get all your vids back ? does anyone know where he is now ? marek mate, if you're out there, please drop me an email so we can sort this out offline....as i'm sure no-one else wants to hear all this. Anyways, the last positive contact I had with him was in august - his message attached below... i hope he's ok, but it would be nice to see my vids again ! thanks in advance neil On Tue, 29 August 2000, "Marek A. I don't know if it has been mentioned here before. I really liked their version. Really Trancy stuff, a bit faster ,and less vocals... He's most closely associated with the band Bigod 20, who did quite a pleasing cover of Madonna's "Like a Prayer." - --Quahogs-- _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. According to http://www.utahsaints.com/, Jez Willis' previous band MDMA were going to have a Jimmy Cauty remix made, thanks to their mutual friend Alex Paterson of the Orb. So, that clears that one up. The discography mentions four different mixes and also two releases - the promo 12" and a maxi cd. 1. The track names on the promo are complete nonsense. The "doug Laurent" mix is in fact the club mix, and vice versa. (appears on the "Rave City 5" compilation) 2. There is a fifth remix from Talla, part of his album (runs about 5:30 minutes). cy@ c-Row # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Send the command "info klf" to majordomo@lists.xmission.com. # To post, email klf@lists.xmission.com; replies go to original sender. # KLF discography: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?klf ------------------------------ End of klf-digest V2 #384 *************************
