I know a lot of people on this list like Pokemon. But when I played it, the game just doesn't seem to have that much to it. A very shallow story and completely repetitive gameplay. Then look at games like Pokemon snap...it is just plain dumb, IMO. The only Pokemon game I like is Pokemon Pinball...I like pinball games :) I think that sooner or later the 'fun factor' of catching endless amounts of monsters is going to wear off unless something new can be introduced into the game. Stryder >> It's just involving. The idea that there are so many different creatures is kinda cool. I didn't know exactly what it'd be like, but from reading Nintendo Power I was able to get the basic idea. I bought it out of curiosity, and found it to be quite a lot of fun. No deep story line, but that wasn't what I was expecting. And I do like all the Pokemon games that were released in North America. Pinball is possibly more addictive and Snap is very creative in gameplay. And the fun factor wearing off is something that I would question, especially when Gold and Silver come out. They're supposed to have genders, so it's possible to breed pokemon in the next games. I'll probably stay with it as long as possible. Ahh, answered all my email, what to do now? Maybe I'll go watch Mewtwo Strikes Back again. :) - -Eric- [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 29 Dec 1999 06:37:57 -0500 From: "Lapenna, Russ" Subject: [N64] 64DD F-Zero X Expansion Disk > > I think its some sort of track editor (the DD was only released in > Japan). Where, when, and how do you save your progress? Ooops. I must have lost my mind.... You were talking about Body Harvest... hehehe. I believe you can save at the end of each level only.
