I'm not sure why but it always seems better playing a game on a higher res screen, better speakers and with better graphics. I know some of you will start blabbing about 'money, compatibility and control' but for the first two I have no problem and the control issue really isn't bad if you buy the right games. I have come to the conclusion that RTS games, RPG's, FPS's, multiplayer, and even some racing games are all executed better than on a console. HOWEVER, Action games and those requiring more 'anolog' controls definately are better on consoles. The other great thing about PC's is that on most games you can save whenever and where ever you want eliminating that bit of frustration while allowing you to pick up the game EXACTLY where you left off. Some say it's the cuteness. Some say the speed. Some say (we've all heard this before) it's too childish. Personally, I think it's excellent. Mario Kart had a great multiplayer mode, but I also like DKR's. Plus, DKR has MK64 beat on the one player mode. - -Eric- [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 6 May 2000 12:12:26 EDT From: Nutz4n64@aol.com Subject: Re: [N64] I love Nintendo! It did have a few problems, but nothing that major. If I had to choose, I'd say DK's *cough* speed. Too slow is kind of an understatement. Not the best game of the year, though. That title either belongs to Jet Force Gemini or Rayman 2 (can't believe I forgot to mention that one). - -Eric- [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ End of n64-digest V1 #1213 ************************** [ To quit the n64-digest mailing list (big mistake), send the message ] [ "unsubscribe n64-digest" (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ]
