Doctors in the states make roughly 1.5-2 times the amount as Candian professionals. The thing is that Canadian doctors are very high in demand (very) because there are fewer students taught in groups and get very high trained skills on more of a one on one basis. Most of these people are torn between reclaiming the 'quiet' life of Canada where there is a certain cleanliness about it or joining the corporate world of tomorrow looking for another buck. To tell you the truth, I have no clue what the government is going to do but they had better act quick. Actually, about the doctor thing, it leaves more jobs open to people b/c many go south.
