Some of my favorite games I have are E & KA. Like Need For Speed, Virtual On, NiGHTS, World Series Baseball, San Francisco Rush, Mario Kart 64, Wave Race 64, F-Zero X, Super Mario 64, Jet Moto, NFS 3 & 4, Sled Storm, Spyro the Dragon, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, Grandia, Gran Turismo 2, Sonic Adventure, and Speed Devils. Hasn't SEGA said that the Dreamcast willbe their last console? Or at least that's the rumors I heard flying about a couple of months ago. If so, then why wouldn't SEGA subsidiaries make a sonic game or any other type of game for nintendo? If they truly decided to become a developer and give up on the console buisness, they would probably team up with one either Nintendo Sony or Microsoft on an exclusive basis, or it would try to develop for all three systems at once, like many developers do. In either case they're unlikely to give up the Sonic franchise. Sure, if they continue to make their own systems it will remain exclusive to that, but if not, it will be farmed out to one or more of the other consoles. - -------------------------------------------------------------- Where would you rather be? I > discriminate against games that are extremely childish (ones with singing > flowers and happy bears, for instance), Singing Flowers? Tomba? No, they just laughed. What game had singing flowers? Was it Parappa The Rappa? Dave Stocks pulled back modestly today as investors stepped back to await the Producer Price Index number being released tomorrow. I don't think Rare would go that far. Well, actually, this is Rare we're talking about. The same guys that had Juno disco dancing. Then again, they seem to be getting a little more into mature gaming, even with their cartoonish games. I think we all know what I'm talking about there. - -Eric- [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Jun 2000 11:54:54 -0500 From: "ROBOTICK" Subject: Re: [N64] Mario vs Banjo I was obviously mistaken. You're right, that's no children's game. Dry nuts and sticking things places. What kind of child would understand that? How on earth is a child supposed to imagine sticking a cave, which is a lack of substance and not a thing, up into a person's butt? - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Tuesday, June 20, 2000 10:52 AM Subject: Re: [N64] Mario vs Banjo At least you were more reasonable in this post (except the first few sentences). I don't think of BK as highly childish. Ever see some of Kazooie's better remarks? One of the best: Kazooie talking to Trunker, a palm tree in the desert. Trunker says that it's so hot and dry that he hasn't gotten any water for days. So, the inquisitive Kazooie asks, "How's your nuts?" Another, at the end of the game, Mumbo Jumbo is talking about some of the secrets from this game that will be in the next one, revealling an ice key in a cave. Kazooie's remark, "I know where I'd like to stick that." OK, now how many six year olds do you think understand jokes like that? Seriously, I think too many people bash this game. D. Fentie, Stryder, you guys agree with me there, don't you? - -Eric- [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] [ To quit the n64 mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe n64" ] [ (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ End of n64-digest V1 #1283 ************************** [ To quit the n64-digest mailing list (big mistake), send the message ] [ "unsubscribe n64-digest" (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ]
