Well, they did hype it up pretty well, but they only gave it a 9.0, which makes it seem as if they are taking it back a little. DK64 wasn't as great as the hype would lead you to believe, and was, as far as I'm concerned, Rare's only N64 flop. After all, if 7-8 is average, determining just how bad a game is would be pretty hard. I mean, where on the crap scale (1-7) would you rate Mortal Kombat Trilogy? Cruis'n USA? And so on. It's far easier to make 5 an average since you can then have games that fare better than average, a notch below, really good, etc. As for TWINE, it seems like a pretty good game from what I got to play at E3, but I wasn't too happy with the multiplayer. Hopefully they'll fine tune the level designs, character animations (the characters didn't even have arms outstretched as if they were aiming), and get rid of the crates. For the record, the weapons were in crates so you wouldn't really know what you were getting until you did; except it was pointless since the weapons were always in the same places. Still, I have faith in Eurocom after playing and liking Mortal Kombat 4....that's quite a feat there.
