Not all of it may be realistic (some of those power smashes are just insane) and it may not have Moya or Courier, but it's one mighty fine game. It lacks the insane challenge, mini-games, and extra stuff that Virtua Tennis puts out, but it makes up for it with refined tennis gameplay and some awesome, awesome games of sheer addictiveness. Using only two buttons you can do far more than you could in Virtua Tennis. You can easily drop shots, lob, but back spin, forward spin, smash, do power serves and strong shots for backspin or forward, and so on. Your characters don't jump as much (i.e. fall), so things are really tight. Of course, they're both excellent games, but I can't say I really have a preference...although I have to confess I have a hard time resisting playing as Paratrooper (the red winged Koopa). The game is just flat out awesome, and I highly recommend it. Turok 3 on the other hand.... The music is also exceptionally well done; very much in line with T2's stuff. If you want to read my full take on the game, I just posted a review for TB tonight; here's the addy: http://www.tendobox.com/reviews/n64/index.cgi?id=69 I think it's pretty in depth personally -- it's over 3000 words=) Anyways, enjoy. As for money and games...the burn is starting to settle in. Although it has little to do with Nintendo of late and more with Sega. Perhaps Zelda and co. will change that. btw, the more I play Mario Tennis, the more I like it over Virtua Tennis. You just have so much more control over your shots.
