Ulysses is very good. I haven't read it yet, though.

To claim that there are other books "more important" that The Lord of the
Rings is absolutely absurd. The Hobbit and J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the
Rings are true classics, no less so than The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
or The Grapes of Wrath. The books are a little bit more than just a fantasy
series that geeks love. Those who have read the books understand this. Of
course, reading The Silmarrilion is also required, but then maybe you aren't
literate enough to handle that one... :)

around to it. Besides, it's not like it's a huge loss for me not to have
read it yet. Now, if I haven't read the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn yet
or some other great novel, that would be a big loss. I'm not saying that the
Lord of the Rings books are unworthy to read, just that there are more
important ones.
