I realize that about the hype. Just a little joke. Haven't gotten much
play time into Wave Race, but, judging by the other games I've played,
Monkey Ball is the best launch game. How ironic that the best launch game
on a Nintendo system is made by Sega. ;-)

I suspect that the number is something like 699,000+ instead of every SINGLE
GC being sold.

I have no doubt they sold a lot of those...but there were seriously a lot
around here. They may well all be gone now after yesterday...but the day
that was posted, not even close. I was working in another town about 20
miles away, so over lunch I was by myself and went to Wal-Mart to check out
the games. They had a case full of Cubes. I'd estimate 20 or more...but it
was hard to tell since they were in a locked glass case. Right across the
street from Wal-Mart is a Super K-Mart. I went in there and it was the
exact same situation. Later that day when i got home from work, I needed to
go buy another HD A/V pack for my XBOX (I have a wiring issue, so I need a
second one) so I went to Best Buy. They literally had 40+ Cubes just one
the floor. They had two large stacks divided by color (indigo and black).
I didn't think anything about this because I knew Nintendo had shipped a ton
of Cubes, but when I got home and saw they claimed to have sold all 700K I
was like, "WTF?".

I love the thrill and experience I get from solving system crashes (and
that's a lot of experience...heh). Besides, most all my customers use
Win2K and I have to know how to solve their problems.
That's a thrill I don't want from my gaming console.

That's it. Your computer won't stop crashing. I'm leaving.
I hate it when you call my XBOX that.
