The closest thing we had was when Nintendo actually revealed at SW2K that the 7th anime ending, Nyarth no Party (Meowth's Party), was actually a running tech demo of the Gamecube hardware. I was pretty surprised about that, but I didn't think it would turn into a game. However, there was that little episode on Cloudchaser with the "Pikalele" thing, which turned out to just be an instrument on sale at NYC's Pokémon Center. So, I watch and wait. So far, I've only played through the first day, which took probably about 8 minutes of play time. However, from what I've played, I can definitely say that it's a worthy game to pick up. Not complicated, and pretty fun. And, once again I'll say it, it should NOT be confused with Pokémon. The styles of gameplay are very different, though there is a part in the beginning which I think is a pretty obvious reference to it. I like other big name titles = like GTA3,=20 DMC, and SWR2RL. As for Smash Bros, I prefer fighters with a bit more = depth like=20 Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves, Last Blade 2, and Capcom Vs. SNK 2. Now = if Smash=20 Bros had Bionic Commando in it, that would be different.
