Call me crazy, but I'm having zero problems finding = reasons=20 to hold onto my GameCube. >>>>

I'm with = Dave, that=20 line-up looks bland.  Nothing that really peaks my = interest.  Which=20 is the entire reason I decided to hold off on the GC till next summer = or=20 so.  I'll have plenty of games to keep me busy till then for PS2 = and=20 XBOX.  Hell, I've got too many games already.  I still = haven't=20 played MGS2 or FFX (both of which I own).  I'm still working on = Jak and=20 Daxter.  I also just bought Silent Hill 2 and Bloodwake for = XBOX. =20 Bloodwake is great...of course, as most of you know, I'm a huge fan = vehicular=20 combat games.  In the first quarter I expect to be buying Maximo = and=20 State of Emergency for the PS2 and Gun Valkyrie and Blood Omen 2 for = the=20 XBOX....and maybe Brute Force as well (the developers of Brute Force = claim a=20 March launch, but we'll see).  I think there may be others as = well, but I=20 don't have a list in front of me to work with.

March 28th. Need For Speed: = Hot Pursuit 2=20 - - PS2. Can't wait. =3D)

State of Emergency sounds = great too. Like=20 a 3-D Final Fight where you get to start riots and stuff. I'm holding = off on=20 Maximo next month. I'm planning on getting both Soul Reaver 2 (finally) = and=20 Blood Omen 2 (both for PS2) for February, maybe I can find enough = scratch to=20 finally get Ico as well.

I understand what SEGA is = doing with the=20 'Cube though. Most people that bought the 'Cube are mainly people who = had the=20 Nintendo 64 before that, and although they could have had a PlayStation = as well,=20 like Jed's case where they bought a PSX when it became a budget system, = but=20 mainly I suspect that most 'Cube owners were Nintendo 64 fanboys and = fangirls,=20 ones who never owned a Dreamcast, either out of the fact they couldn't = afford=20 one, were blinded by their fan status and devout Nintendo Nerds, or = whatever. So=20 SEGA is bringing all of their top Dreamcast games to the 'Cube (although = some=20 are also multi-platform like the 2K2 games) but games like Skies of = Arcadia,=20 Sonic Adventure 2, Phantasy Star Online Version 2, and even Crazy Taxi = and 18=20 Wheeler are being shown to a whole new fanbase for the first time, and = will=20 probably do very well for SEGA. Let's just hope that by summer after all = the=20 Dreamcast ports are done that SEGA comes into full swing with some new = titles or=20 perhaps Gamecube versions of Jet Set Radio Future (the only reason I = want an=20 XBOX) or SEGA GT 2002.

Just a bit of thought. Did = you know that=20 Monkey Ball (the coin-op) was done on the Naomi arcade board? Really = makes you=20 think, doesn't it?

Maybe the Gamecube will see = Planet=20 Harriers and that motorcycle game (not LA Riders) that I can't think of = the name=20 right now. Or a new Zaxxon. A new Zaxxon would rule. How many of you = remember=20 the first time you played Zaxxon?
