I love just about all the SNK fighters, I put them on
the same level as Capcom fighters.

I need to get some mafia work soon so I can get a GBA.

You know, how Capcom said Biohazard/Resident Evil will
be on two Gamecube DVDs. I was first wondering at what
part in RE would you have to switch discs. I went
through it over and over in my head since I've played
RE about ten times now. Well, RE on PSX, RE:DC on PSX,
and RE on Saturn. But I just couldn't think of a point
in the game where a disc swap would fit in. The
closest spot I could imagine was the introduction of
the Hunter after the Ginat Plant in the Guardhouse.
But then it occoured to me, maybe Biohazard/Resident
Evil remake will be like Resident Evil 2 (PSX & DC
versions anyway) where there will be a Jill Vanentine
disc and a Chris Redfield disc.

I wonder, does anybody know, will Biohazard/Resident
Evil remake incorporate the quick turn (first seen in
Dino Crisis and Resident Evil 3)? Will
Biohazard/Resident Evil remake incorporate the no need
to push action to climb stairs, which was a wonderful
addition to Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, but for some
reason was not in Code: Veronica. Will B/RE remake
make use of the targeting feature first seen in
Resident Evil: Director's Cut, or will it be like the
first RE and Resident Evil 2 (on PSX) where you had to
do all the aiming yourself. As a note the targeting
feature was put in to Resident Evil 2 on the
Dreamcast, I can't remember if the N64 version had it
as well.

Also, does anybody know if the original voices will be
kept intact? I couldn't imagine going through Resident
Evil on the Gamecube without hearing, "it looks like
blood! I hope this isn't Chris' blood!", or, "I think
you, the master of unlocking should have this." ;-)

I mean if Jill's not the "Master of Unlocking" then I
would go nuts.

I'm sorry for my lack of manners, I'm not used to
escorting men.

I hope I didn't throw any spoliers at anybody for
those who have yet to play any of the four commercial
versions of Resident Evil (Resident Evil - PSX and
Saturn, Resident Evil: Director's Cut - PSX, and
Resident Evil: Director's Cut: Dual Shock - PSX). It
would be a shame to know that Barry dropped the rope
or that the terrible demon is a giant snake that you
see twice, or things like that. But I'm sure
everybody, except those who don't like the stop -
pivot gameplay of the series, has played through the
classic Resident Evil.

The americans were up 1-0 in the early part of the 1st period however Canada came back and scored 2 quick goals to take the lead. then as the game progressed it was a tie 2-2 game until Canada eventually took the lead 3-2 and during the last part of the 3rd period broke the spirits of the american fans and team by increasing that lead by two more to make it 5-2. Although the PS2 gets that kind of releases in a month. ;-) And the XBOX looks like it's going to start catching up, if you read the 200 games special in OXM #5. Gamecube needs at least 5 quality games a month to even have a chance. He who has the most games (consoles, not the people who own the consoles) wins. It's as simple as that. The NES, SNES/Genesis (it was real close) and the PlayStation has shown us that. It's all about variety. If I were to ask somebody to list all of their PSX games I'm sure there would be somebody, or many bodys, with a totally different list than me, but if I did the same with N64, I bet most of us would have the same list. I don't want that to happen with Gamecube. And also, when it comes to ports and two or three versions of a same game, I'm going to buy the best version, and usually that will be on the XBOX, unless it comes out for another system 6 months beforehand. Sure, the Gamecube is getting Soul Calibur 2, but so is the XBOX and PS2. So I'd have to decide, better grpahics on the XBOX? Or maybe the pS2 version since because of the controller? Who knows? The Gamecube needs exclusives, things I can't buy for the XBOX or PS2, and five games in one year, that just doesn't cut the mustard. ===== ** Dave ** super_trey_bros@yahoo.com AIM: Sanrio Velocity " Life is pain, anbody who tells you otherwise is lying or trying to sell you something. As far as Zelda goes, I don't think it'll come out this year. I could be wrong, but I'm very sure it'll see a delay. The three games I'm mainly anticipating for the next few months are Resident Evil, Star Fox Adventures, and Eternal Darkness. Those will all be excellent. Not sure when Galleon is supposed to be released, but we shall see. - -Satoshi _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com [ To quit the NGamers mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe ] [ NGamers" (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ End of NGamers-digest V1 #1817 ****************************** [ To quit the NGamers-digest mailing list (big mistake), send the message ] [ "unsubscribe NGamers-digest" (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ]
