Then, make sure you defeat him in less than a minute. I'd suggest using Roy, but you don't have him, so maybe someone powerful like Bowser. Just beat him (or is it beat both him and Peach?), and then play the game until the end. Doing this on Very Easy is quite useful. If you beat them on time, you should fight Luigi at the end and beat him easily. And then he'll be playable. ~Matt [ To quit the NGamers mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe ] [ NGamers" (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 13:38:39 -0500 (EST) From: Vi On Subject: [NG] Resident evil review 39/40 Wow, resident evil got a 39/40 from Famitsu. http://www.planetgamecube.com/news.cfm?action=item&id=2770 So when is this game coming out in US?? can't wait - -Vi [ To quit the NGamers mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe ] [ NGamers" (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 14:15:31 -0600 From: "Eric C" Subject: Re: [NG] Resident evil review 39/40 >From: Vi On >Reply-To: NGamers@lists.xmission.com >To: NGamers@lists.xmission.com >Subject: [NG] Resident evil review 39/40 >Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 13:38:39 -0500 (EST) > > >Wow, resident evil got a 39/40 from Famitsu. > >http://www.planetgamecube.com/news.cfm?action=item&id=2770 > >So when is this game coming out in US?? can't wait > >-Vi > The release date according to IGN is pretty much stuck at April 30, but I'm not sure if that's really official. It's nice that he's not a perfect Mario clone, although it's pretty sick since it looks like Luigi throws snot instead of fireballs. ;-) I got the Princess Daisy trophy too, and now I'm wondering why nobody mentioned she was a playable character in Mario Golf. Oh well. I wonder, is Wario or (gasp) WaLuigi in SSBM? I hope for the former and not for the latter. I really like Wario, mainly from the good old days with Mario Kart 64, and Wario Land VB. Speaking of which, if you ever see a Virtual Boy and Wario Land for the VB, I suggest you get it. Although it casuses eye-strain and headaches (the VB itself) Wario Land for the VB is one of Nintendo's best platformers. The Wario Land games on the GB/GBC can't even compare to the greatness of Wario Land VB. You'd think they'd make Toad a playable character too. That would have been nice. I'm betting that Wario isn't a playable character in SSBM, so it wouldn't fall prey to Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 syndrome; that's a fighter with too many clones, taking the exapmle of all the Sub Zero/Scorpion clones. But then again Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 falls prey to that big time (Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Dan, Sagat, Cyclops, Cable, Captain America, and I think US Agent, man, it's been a while since I played MvsC2) but it pulls it off with a 56 playable character roster. Oh well. Something else. I noticed yesterday that the Cloudchaser Fourms were different (odd colour scheme and post counts were back) and now today there's nothing there at all. What's going on? In case you didn't know, I would post this on another list but nobody has a dry sense of humor there, this weekend, March 15-17, SEGA.net is free. Meaning that if you're registered with SEGA.com (it's free) you can play all those online multiplayer Dreamcast games on SEGA's servers for free. The PSO games are an exception since PSO is free anyway and PSOv2 has its own servers seperate from the SEGA.net servers. But everything else, from Chu-Chu Rocket to Unreal Tournament and all the sports games in between are free to everybody. I myself have been itching to see if I can play UT on MSN since from my web browser readings it says I connect on my Dreamcast at 29K. I also want to give Daytona USA another spin online, but mainly I'm ready to be playing UT all night friday. =) Capcom Vs. SNK 2 is coming to the Gamecube. That will be interesting. Maybe if it does well, or if if not, ASCII will release a Gamecube ASCII Pad FT, and then perhaps Capcom will bring more fighters to the Cube. I wonder, how much video RAM does the Cube have? The Dreamcast has 8 megs, the PS2 has 4 megs (although the PS2 did CvsS2 and Guilty Gear X as good as the Dreamcast) but hopefully CvsS2 will be the start of where new Capcom fighters go, but lets just hope they get into gear and go 640 x 480. That's enough blabbering for now. ===== ** Dave ** super_trey_bros@yahoo.com AIM: Sanrio Velocity "Vae Victus -- suffering to the conquered." - Kain __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? As Dudley would say, 'gutter trash', is what that editorial was. (if you don't know who Dudley is I'm gonna have to kick your arse) Not everybody doesn't like how the new Zelda game looks. I can't remember where but just recently I was reading how Cell shaded graphics bridge the gap between aged sprites and cold/sterile polygons. If you are any sort of gamer at ALL you will remember how much closer Link was to cartoon than a real-life figure. The only people t= hat are going to still be complaining about it after the game is released are people that havent played it and PS2 and Microsoft fanboys.
