I don't have problem with games being $50 each. Ever since the NES days, games were $50 each. it was up to $60 each with N64 games at one point in time. After all these years, games are still $50 each which is a decent price. Movie tickets has gone from $5 10 years ago to $10 bucks a ticket now just to see Star Wars. Especially games that spent 2 years in development are worth the money. Britney Spears, Superman, Universal Studios Theme park is not worth $50... - -Vi [ To quit the NGamers mailing list, send the message "unsubscribe ] [ NGamers" (without the quotes) to majordomo@xmission.com ] ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 19 May 2002 23:21:18 -0400 (EDT) From: Vi On Subject: [NG] games > Btw, Skies of Arcadia is damn awesome. Nintendo is profiting selling at $199. If they are hurt at $149, how hurt will Microsoft be selling Xbox at $199? Here is a console that is already losing money at $299. Second, Grandia 2 could have looked and played better on PS2 if Game Arts had put more effort into the port. Same thing with Activision's port of Spy Hunter for NGC... Sega, being who they are, will probably put the required attention into porting SoA to both the PS2 and NGC to make either port worth purchasing.
