Comrades, Often it seems as though many posters are hell bent on completing an N64 game as soon ASAP. To those of you, that fall into this category, I was wondering if you regret having 'beaten' the game so soon. Currently, it seems as though many of the posters are waiting for another game to come out because they've beaten all the ones that they have. If your games don't have replay value, isn't your N64 useless until the other games come out? I have about a dozen games and have not beat 1 of them! Not because I'm 'scrub', but because I have other more important things to do and I'm not 'hell bent' on completing them. I also only play one game for a couple of days and then switch. Ergo, I have a dozen games that still offer me new thrills and chills. Where as someone who has beaten all there games would be bored with their N64 because their waiting for something new. Understand where I'm coming from? So, after that long soliloguy I'll re-ask my question: Do those of you who have tried to beat all their games in as little time as possible regret it, because now theres nothing to play, until the future'? Holla if ya hear me! Considering that six-year-olds have an attention span of about |----| this much, and that I didn't ever get bored of it, this is a great feat. I beat Star Fox 64 in one day... four days on the hardest route, 9 days to get to EVERY level, shortly afterwards to get all of the medals. I got bored with the game after 9 days. Back to Zelda 64.... if Nintendo can manage to cut out some of the glitz and put in more gameplay, I would be ecstatic. I was dismayed when I found out how short Mario 64 really was, despite the "huge" 64 megabits. Starfox was, of course, even shorter. ISS64: only six stadiums, a normal number of teams, and many animations... did Konami really need a N64 to make that possible? It seems more like an anti-aliased polygon SNES game. I realise that 64-bit graphics require more game space to store, but maybe it's time to cut back. In short, I want to be able to play Zelda 64 for at least one month, and more WHEN (not if) Zelda 64DD comes out. However, in my quest for the absolute truth I contacted "Ask Dan" at nintendo.com who replied with the following email message this morning: _______________________________________________________________ "There is no real theoretical maximum cart size. You can make carts as big as you want, limited only by the cost and size of the chips. With chip cost going down, and larger and larger chips available, we will continue to see larger cartridges. Now at any given point in time there may be a limit to the cart size available, that doens't mean that larger carts won't be available in the future." Now, I read about a year ago that the N64 couldn't handle carts larger than 32 megs. I went on to explain to this person that while the cart size could not grow larger than 32 megs, the games would nonetheless get bigger because the compression techniques that game developers use would continue to grow in sophistication. Can you resolve the max cart size issue once and for all? What is the max cart size, if there is one, that the N64 can handle. Thanks in advance for the help." But other thatn that = what do we=20 have? Not much at all. And that could just about make me cry ( serious ) = I am=20 begining to beleive that Nintendo is finished if they dont try a lot = harder to=20 get new game companies to make games for then ( GOOD GAME COMPANIES! ) = When I=20 look at the 64DD I used to think that it would revolutionize what was = allready a=20 great thing the  Nintendo 64 I mean dont get me wrong the N64 is a = damm=20 powerful peice of hardware but the games that are played on it are the=20 determining factor. But now I look at hte 64DD as the last chance = Nintendo has=20 either they revolutionize gamming and have lots of good developers and = companies=20 working for them, numerous AAA titles at the launch and things that = really make=20 them  stand out as being the ones who made games better for = everyone, or I=20 really do think even though i dont want to beleive it that Nintendo has=20 failed... The 64DD has to " Save" Nintendo. And they have to = release=20 only AAA titles and not let terrible game like weve been seeing lately = slip=20 through. and so I end with this  please Nintendo do the right thing = revolutionize the gamming industry, and only release great games. = Because=20 everyone out the knows you can do it " you have to do it" it = the last=20 hope. Please share your thoughts on this and answer my questions, tell = what you=20 think is happenings and what needs to happen etc. I would be greatly=20 appreciative.
