That's really strange. Recording the video and audio from a Nintendo 64 (or any game system) should be easy. It's not rocket science. If you're using RCA cables just set the VCR to the A/V (or AUX) channel, turn on the N64 and hit record (or record & play on older VCRs). If you're using an RF switch just set to either channel 3 or 4 on the VCR and hit record. If your still having problems, try unhooking the cable (or antenna) from the VCR so the N64 is the only source of audio & video the VCR is getting. Trey ... Your VCR probably has a specific channel for outside equipment such as a Nintendo 64. The channel is probably called 'AV', 'A/V', or 'AUX'. It is either between the highest available channel and the lowest available channel on your VCR or can be found by using the remote to select your input source. This was exciting news to me, so I wrote an e-mail to Boss Game Studios, and submitted my wish list of how Top Gear Rally could have been better. I got a response back from the TGR technical director. He confirmed that they ARE working on another racing game, but it is NOT a rally game. Now I'm REALLY exicited! I do like rally racing, but we already have TGR and MRC. What kind of racing do you guys think they'll be doing next? Touring maybe? I'm sure they are using the same game engine, just tweaking it some. Touring would lend itself well to the TGR engine, although I'm sure they wouldn't have trouble adapting it to other kinds of racing, like street, NASCAR, or CART. matt ma ps - He admitted that the lack of 3+ cars on screen was one of TGR's biggest weaknesses, and that this WILL be addressed in the next racing game.
