Especially when you consider it was a first gen PSX game. When I got TM1, I worshipped it. I thought. "This game can't be beat." Then TM2 came out. I blew TM1 away. I worshipped it. Now I have Critical Depth, which is absolutely awesome. I like it much better than even TM2. I play that game every single day. It saves all you stats on your memory card. You can now even save a one player game after any level. I just can't praise this game enough...although if you get it, it MUST be used with a dual analog pad. You'll never really get used to the controls unless you do. The game tends to be disorienting (sp?) when you first play (since you are under water). As for Jet Moto, as I have said many times, I don't care for racers, but my friend (the one who loves racers) got it loved it. I played it a bit. It was pretty good. Most people just look at it, see that it has grainy graphics and don't give the game a chance. The controls are also hard to get used to (most Single Trac games are). The main thing my friend loved about it is that is was just about the only truly challenging racing game out..it still is. He blows every other racer away the first day usually. But I have found that with about every ST game, just give them a little time and generally you come to love them. BTW, TM3 is being made by Sony..I hope they don't squander it. Since Single Trac can't make a game called "Twisted Metal", they are making a clone of it...it will be called Rogue Trip. I can't wait. CD is not even half of what TM1 was, and that sucks big compared to TM2.
