Of course I was playing Quake for a year on the PC before the N64 version came out. I would say that roughly 3/4 of the levels were cut out of the N64 version. Some of the secrets were moved to different levels to compensate. The multiplayer mode offers a very limited selection of levels, unlike the comp version which allowed you to use any level in the game. The control on Quake 64 is a severe step down from the N64 version, in that it doesn't allow you to look around and aim while walking at the same time. This is somewhat of a pain. The graphics stink compared to an accelerated version of Quake on the PC. The music, which was quite possibly the wickedest ever on a PC, was done by Nine Inch Nails, but then left out of the N64 version in favor of some other noise. I guess N64 Quake is okay, but it is severly short, and it doesn't deliver a Quake-like experience. - -FearWN >Perhaps I wasn't clear on what I was asking.
