But, what I do think is that there are lots of people who don't know how to install RAM properly. Here is some stuff I read at IGN 64 (it is not quoted so dont quote ME on this, its just the gist of it). The game never loads: One guy said that it never loaded off his Expansion pack UNTIL he took it out and then went to the screen which said please insert your Memory pack NOW. He then said if he had the memory pack out until it asked for it, it saved everytime. The game freezes: One individual said that his game ALWAYS froze and it never played like it should so what he did was he took his NEWLY BOUGHT AND INSTALLED RAM PACK and took it out and FIRMLY placed it back in as perfect and tight it could fit. Then he said it never did freeze again and he's played it for a looooongggg time. Bad framerates: Ok, this has me stumped, either the Ram isn't installed correctly or people are TOOOOOOO PICKY!!!!! I have heard mixed reviews from: 'the game runs at a blistering 5-7 Frames per second' to 'the game is great and runs at a fantastic speed of at least 25-30 frames per second'. So maybe people just are looking too hard for something that isnt there. But I truly believe that 10,000 man hours can detect something as obvious as a crash every 20 minutes or 5-7 frame rates per second and do you think that someone would have noticed by now if a 'beta' version was printed? Why would half the games be good and the other half bad, did they stop production once they realised their mistake... but then the public would have been informed. It must be improperly installed/faulty RAM. Anyone else care to clue me in on their ideas? As you probably know, the game is based on the Turok 2 engine and is very reminiscent of it in controls and such. You get the full initial treatment with the classic South Park theme song and an intro with all four characters. You are visited by Chef and then get to choose to play either Kenny, Stan, Cartman, or Kyle. Choose one of the characters and off you go!. I chose cartman and he fires snowballs at the turkeys that are attacking you. All the classic word use and comedy seems to be in tact. This is obviously a very brief review.
