I'd suggest that everyone includes them into her or his bio, just to have something in common on all the pages. I've just started to type some HTML and personal stuff around (removed some typos even) and wait to have some pictures for it - then I'll send my bio-page to you. It'll take some time, as I'm just about to buy me a digital photo camera ... sadly I cannot go to ultraworld dot org - as I don't want my page to get influenced by what I see on other ones. If you get a chance to listen to it, do so, and you won't be dissapointed if you're in to laidback ambient. O.k., I had some THC running through my veins, but still... Though it's not an Orb remix in the strictest sense, I still like it allot, and apparently U2's Edge gives it his "thumbs up", so it must be good. The liner notes said that Alex and the Edge liked the tracks so much that they agreed to their comments being printed on the front cover. These comments are nonexistent, unless they were limited to the album title and the names of the Roedelius artists. Maybe they were going for the minimal approach. I should be working on those very soon. for now, you can take a sneak preview at the design thus far.... at: http://ultraworld.org/new/index.htm ----> I.E. 4.0+ and shockwave plug-in needed. I plan on designing a site that is 3.0 / netscape compatiable. I'll put a browser detector in there so no one will have to guess which one to choose. The initial download might be a litte tough, as i've yet to optimize the graphics yet. But after the first time you pull it down, it will be easier on subsequent downloads. Anyway, Once again i come to you for ideas on what you, The Orb Fans, want out of this site. I am installing a message board. This might help to pull un-related orb posts off the list and onto the message board. The fact that this is a Fan Site for The Fans, The message board would be a good place to post reviews of music that isn't related to the orb, but that as an orb fan you do enjoy, and stuff like that. This will be going in the "Interact" section of the page (you'll see it when you look at the url above) What i want to ask you guys & gals, Is would you benefit from an Ultraworld chatroom? Would you guys even use it? As it bogs down the server and what not, I want to see if you guys would like something like that? And not to sound tacky, but what about Orb - Internet postcards ? I think this would be kinda neat, as i know my g/f's daughter likes getting these, and they seem to be popular on the web. But instead of dumb ass pics of flowers and junk, we could send private messages next to Pics of LX on pagoda, and album covers... eh, just a thought. What else do you guys want out of this? Ultraworld is an orb community. Besides allowing us to post and view our bios/pics and offering up links to all the orb info known to man (btw, if you have an orb link that is not featured in the link section at http://www.ultraworld.org/new/links.htm let me know.) What do you want to see here? How about a calander of events listing all of LX's upcoming dj gigs - Orb Tour Info - etc?
