When the arrow would fly-if I had already clicked it would shut down the program, I would have to re-open and begin anew. I GAVE UP ! My level of frustration was sky high ! last night I sat down and began reading the Logitech Book and decided that I needed to re-install and that took care of the problem. Later I began to watch the cat...I had been told by several different people that something sitting on the key board for a prolonged period of time can cause strange problems. (I am sure they were thinking of a book or something like that) Well I would call Laz's (the Cat) dance sufficient to cause a problem. I had never really noticed before, but he does spend a lot of time around the computer- trying to be close to me. I would have to think that his little fling on the key board was his attempt to discover that "Mom" think is so fascinating about the darn thing. NOW I Keep the door closed so he cannot get in here. You could stamp the image you want on paper, blow it on a copier, then take it to a cake decorator at a bakery. Most of the time they can copy the image on to the cake in frosting. That way you get the image without stamping. If you do hear from someone who stamps on cakes, please let me know how they did it. I could use the tip for a graduation/birthday party I'm having. (Early starts for me are rare, but do happen occassionally) So, I've already planned to stamp the invites, gift bags, etc. Then I thought about the cake and figured I could probably use rubber stamps to decorate that too. Only I haven't quite decided how. I don't necessarily mean stamping directly on the cake (although I have considered using food coloring and a new stamp to try it). If any one has rubberstamped a cake topper; I would appreciate ideas, materials used and any other info. They had been in good health the last ten years mainly due to her interest in health food, and exercise. When they reached the pearly gates, St. Peter took them to their mansion which was decked out with a beautiful kitchen and master bath suite and Jacuzzi. As they "oohed and aahed" the old man asked Peter how much all this was going to cost. "It's free," Peter replied, "this is Heaven." Next they went out back to survey the championship golf course that the home backed up to. They would have golfing privileges everyday and each week the course changed to a new one representing the great golf courses on earth. The old man asked, "what are the green fees?". Peter's reply, "This is heaven, you play for free." Next they went to the club house and saw the lavish buffet lunch with the cuisines of the world laid out. "How much to eat?" asked the old man. "Don't you understand yet? This is heaven, it is free!" Peter replied with some exasperation. "Well, where are the low fat and low cholesterol tables?" the old man asked timidly. Peter lectured, "That's the best part...you can eat as much as you like of whatever you like and you never get fat and you never get sick. This is Heaven." With that the old man went into a fit of anger, throwing down his hat and stomping on it, shrieking wildly. Peter and his wife both tried to calm him down, asking him what was wrong. The old man looked at his wife and said, "This is all your fault! Hi Sheryl! Did I ever tell you about the nice pot roast dinner I served for me and DH .... roast was big enough for at least 2 nights of leftovers. I had carved enough for the meal and left the rest on the counter to put away when it cooled. We heard "Buddy-Freddy" our 85 lb. bundle of sheppard-collie-retriever choking to death (or so we thought) in the living room. We both rushed in to check and he was on his last bites of my MY ROAST!!! I totally sympathize with you about the PIZZA! About your Shelly. Are you using a crate to potty train her? Have had dogs all my life, and Buddy-Freddy is the first one we've used a crate (albeit a VERY large crate) with. I used to think they were cruel, but it has been the best dog-related nvestment I've ever made. (OK, so it didn't save the roast, but it sure helped with the potty training!) Try using a straw to direct your "hot air" to the right spots. I know somone who ended up in the hospital for 3 days because she inhaled too many fumes. Hope the flooding didn't do too much damage. Do you carry flood ins? We don't, as we aren't in a flood zone. And we are the highest home around here, too. Our pool overflowed again. Which means it collected more than 5 inches of rain. Fortuneately, it is at a slight angle, and floods out back, which in turn goes into a pond on the other side of our fence. This is the 2nd time that has happened this winter. So, we open up the drain and let some out to the pond, too. That pond is really handy. The yard is too saturated to let any seep through. So, it all goes to the run off. Miami and the Keys sure took a beating!! Glad we aren't down there. Ever notice how men have Seasons-football, hunting ,fishing, etc? True, some of us enjoy those too. But usually the things ladies like to do are like this:club meeting, lunch, committee[not really a good word]. Why don't we make an *official* season? And be romanced. There doesn't have to be ticket sales , passes or licenses. Parking won't be a problem nor will monopolizing the boob tube on Monday nights. Just romance, affection, kisses, hugs, chocolate , stamps, negligee[is the root word neglect?], gift certificates to our favorite rubber stamp vendors, etc. A daily discussion should follow nightly news-sit down with your mate and give him the score. For offense he needs to shower you with Affection and for Defense he needs to pick up after himself for a month. If you vote yes, mark it here. And you MUST forward this to your guy or he WON'T get the message. Most likely you will have to forward it daily till March 4. If asked to do anything Domestic you must say, "It will have to wait until after Valentine's Season." On March 1 we will plan the playoffs for Valentine's Season.
