I was told that as long as this line of stamps were not offered (on sale) on a regular basis, that an occassional sale was fine! I am fairly new (1 month) to the list, and a new vendor with Judith. I was very excited about the line and wanted to pass along my enthusiasm to all the list members that seem to share so much in their lives. We were talking the other day about when I was in girl scouts and she was the den mother. Any way we had a sister troop in England. My mom got to know the other den mother pretty well. Over the years they lost touch. This must have been over 15 years ago. My mom's name is Linda Murry. So if that rings a bell to anyone please let me know. I know it's a long shot but stranger things have happened. She also loved getting stuff from England. She's saving money to go over in a coulpe of years. So I was wondering if some people could send me cards or something and I'll send them stuff. Thanks for taking the time to read this . I couldn't understand what was going on so did some investigating and have discovered that the orders never got to me which is why you haven't heard from me. I have now changed my e-mail address to MSN so the Stampo@stampo.com mail from my Web Page or e-mail gets forwarded to MSN instead of Juno (there's a reason things are free). My MSN address if you want to write me directly is STAMPO_VLVS@msn.com. IF you placed an order (regular or LAST CALL) and have not received an acknowledgement from me, I don't have the order... unless it was placed within the last few hours when I've had the mail forwarded to MSN. I'll be writing from MSN in the future as soon as I figure out how to do so. It's a little confusing to me at present and I've been crashing the computer trying to get it to work right. Mail IS arriving okay though and I can reply to letters... having trouble initiating them and have to set up my addresses in MSN... if I can't transfer from JUNO, I'll have to key them in. I'm truly sorry to have disappointed customers but believe me, I'd LOVE to have the orders. If you care to give me another chance, we'll ship orders as fast as we can this week and try to get them all out of here... we really don't have any backup of orders waiting here... I had a few orders that I entered today and that's it. Ron's caught up with pulling the orders so we'll be shipping what orders we have tomorrow. BTW, for those who have followed the Ron saga, he and his wife went to the arraignment last week and they let the guy off for lack of evidence. Unbelievable! Now, if you don't know what happened and are curious, Ron is my indexer/order puller and his 18 year old son was shot in the head and killed by a total stranger as he took a break at Jack In The Box where he worked. The guy was drunk, rode up on a bicycle with a beer in his hand and started giving him a hard time... he turned to go back inside the Jack In The box and the guy shot him in the head and killed him instantly. This happened Christmas Eve and they had the guy and let him go because the eye witness couldn't identify him positively and then they arrested him again because his fingerprints were on the can of beer he left at the scene and the store where he bought the beer identified him. Anyway, I'd appreciate your passing the word along to whatever e-mail lists and boards are expressing the anger about non-delivery of orders. Anything faxed in should have been shipped or be shipped by tomorrow as it would have been pulled today. Toad Hall Swap Hi, I got my Toad Hall Swap cards today. Thanks for being so prompt Kim. Here goes: From the Rubber Goddes: The three faces of the Goddess--hard to describe. She beings with a dark brown cardstock mottled with gold, adds a pece of dark green mulberry paper which has an intriguing gold large area....Is that triple embossed?? On top are zoom views of a woman's face cut in different shapes. It's gorgeous. Cynthia sent Einstein embossed in gold on hot pink. She added question marks all around and the words "What if this weren't a hypothetical question?" Diane Hare begins with dark green cardstock. She has mounted a piece of cloudlike green with images of a woman sleeping at the bottom....words. "To sleep, perchance to dream..." In the dreams a man is free falling and a large hand holds a running dog. Great imagination and color! Sandy mounted an interesting black paper mottled with gold and white. She has framed a womans's nose and lips in a triangular postoid. An eye is stamped on a rectangle and Diane added some postage cancellations. I really like these abstract cards! Kate began with dark green. At the bottom she stamped the paradise people and embossed them in gold. At the top she added a piece of lovely wide, lacy gold ribbon and mounted the same people stamed in green on a square of silver. Thanks to all! I was able to get one at a local stamp store. Now here's my problem. On Friday night (2/6) I inked up my stamp and stamped on my card. I am using matte-kote type paper. I don't have the exact brand right handy, but I can run downstairs and get it if anyone thinks that makes a difference. Anyway, at 7pm eastern time I plunked my stamp on that paper. At 10:22pm that night it still wasn't dry. At 8am on 2/7 it still wasn't dry. Tonight (2/9) at 8:50pm it STILL isn't dry! What did I do wrong? Tonight it's much better than before, it would go into an envy without smearing, but I could still rub ink of onto my fingers. Should I heat it with my heat gun? It's beautiful ink and ordinarily I wouldn't mind embossing, but I can't use and EP right now due to health reasons. Any ideas? It has been terribly busy here, as my DH and my son both had birthdays yesterday. I have been sick but too busy to take the time to recover as I should have. I went to the Dr. this am and found out that I have sinus post nasal drip, bronchitis as well as the start of walking pneumonia. I need rest. Who is willing to get my house ready for my inlaws visit on Wednesday for our little queen Victorias 6th birthday, and plan for her party on Sunday? And my DH told me that they are having a roll out of new computers on Thurs., Fri, and Sat. so he has to work a lot of overtime. Guess I'll have to get my 15 & 16 year old sons in high gear to help out old dear old Mom. Either that, or Mom will have to go to the hospital for her rest.
