Ps. there is glitter all over.Thanks. From Barbara Graves: White bumpy cardstock with a shelf done with embossing, which must have been tricky cuz she has the shelf in a brown and the hanging stuff in black. It came in a clear envelope. Very nice. From Patty Sulcs: A postcard on black cardstock that has a wavy edge and an embossed baby seal in the middle of white cardstock that has photo edges as a frame. I like this idea, but haven't tried it yet. From Laurie: My kind of card. I love southwestern stuff. Her card starts with turquoise and is layered with copper cardstock and a mulberry paper, corrugated box, feathers and the SAME pot from Stamps Galore that I have. This is a great collage look and gives me another use for my stamp. I liked stamps galore stuff at the convention. Have a great day, I'm off to deliver kids to school. First of all I want everyone to know that when I posted that I got the Christmas card swap and posted the mail postmark I was not putting Kimberlee down. I am sure it was out of her control that it was lost for a while at the PO. The bag did look like it had been around, and I believe it was rude of those of you that yelled at her for it. She IS very sick and should be staying in bed. I UNDERSTAND that! Now, I received the Be My Valentine card swap and the sticker swap yesterday. The stickers are great. I have already used some. And thank you for the redhots, it has been a long time since I have had them. From Maria: a neatly designed card that has hearts embossed in gold. It is four hearts that fold out and meet in the midde. There is gold glitter all over. I love this one. From Debbie Kaeding: A red leather card that has an overlay of thick vellum with a heart stamp filled with hearts embossed in white with a red ribbon tied at the top. I like this vellum, it is thicker than mine. From Robin Moore: a burgundy card that has the bottom corners edged with a design I haven't seen yet, but I like it. A very beautiful heart stamp on lavender cardstock embossed in copper with glitter. This is nice. From AG: A red cardstock layered with dragon back edged glossy white cardstock and has happy kids dancing and heart shaped balloons. that says You make me want to dance. this one is very cute. From Susan Curtis: a piece of white cardstock that has been rubbed with red and two hearts on it that intertwine together and one is half cut out so they close together. This is a great design I haven't seen yet. The card is cut long way instead of in half. GReat idea. These were great swaps, thank you Kimberlee for hosting and I'm truly sorry that people were mean to you. I didn't think I would like it because it has some chunky glitter in it, but the glitter sort of melts into the powder and makes it really reflective and gorgeous. I use a lot of Malachite and Aegean Silver from Judi Kins and I recently bought Galaxy, Lapis Lazuli, Chameleon and others that I'm really liking too. Boston in June UN in March I have spoken to Giggles and mentioned that I may be able to come to Boston if someone in this area is going and I can share expenses. My area is Dayton, Ohio (W. Carrollton to be exact) and can drive to meet anyone on the route there. I am not sure about hotel rooms, but that can all be worked out! My husband and I will be going to Europe (England, France and Scotland) in March, so I will be a well traveled stamper. I hope to meet our friends in the UK who are on the list, they can contact me off list. Julie Midnight Stamper ***Please Put Julie or Brian in the subject line. Well Dear Meridee, I hate to admit this but I've had a couple bad cooking days myself! It doesn't mean you are a bad person or even a bad cook! This is how I finally got the burn out of my "pots".... I made lots of apple sauce this fall and I had to wait to can the sauce so it in the fridge over night. When I went to can it the big burn started tto come off right into my sauce!WOW So I got out apple juice and soaked my other pan and off came the other big burn! The moral of the story is....I'm a good cook and learn from my mistakes! You are all invited over for dinner tonight! JJ in Montana At 10:06 PM 2/9/98 -0800, Meridee!
