The embossing powder is by Imprintz and it is called Crystal Gold. It is chunkier than ordinary embossing powder. My neighbor used this EP on a card and I was taken with it too. I don't know if any list vendors sell it or not. If you can't find it let me know and I will send you a jar of it. Our local store had it at Christmas time. It may take them a few months to get it in again. The sun pin was made from Paper Clay. I stamped on the clay, cut out the pin, poked a hole in the pin with a toothpick and baked it. Then I colored it with the rub on paints that Evo sells. The stamp is a Laurel Berch stamp. The dumb hats pin is an Acey Deucy stamp. I picked up some counter top samples from the local hardware store and used one of them for my stamping background. I am glad you enjoyed everything. And, I knew those turtles couldn't slow you down! Brenda >me Mel Gibson--'cause he IS Something! She said she wouldn't share--which >just goes to show you how selfish she is. (yeah--like I'd share....) > >Well, she sent me 3 other things instead. I think I've finally found the html code error in Page Three that was preventing you from viewing all of Page Three and getting to Page Four. Color Me Dumb! Anyway, if anyone has further trouble getting to Page Four on my Web Page Sale at www.stampo.com, please let me know and I'll see what I might have missed. Again, sorry for the inconvenience and for taking so long to figure out the problem... for some reason, Internet Explorer 4.01 was not picking up the problem and letting me go from 3-4 online but when Stephanie actually e-mailed me exactly where Page 3 was cutting off for her (at Marvy Matchable pads), I was able to check the html code and see that I'd omitted a " and that was causing the problem. HTML is VERY unforgiving! I may have to go to my Meditation Chapel and meditate for a while or lift my spirits in the Teddy Bears Picnic page. LOVE that music... when I was in the Air Force, one of the guys played the accordion and whenever we'd go to beach parties at Lake Winnipeg, for some reason, we'd always sing "Teddy Bears Picnic" so the song in engrained in my brain! I go there often. I did put a link to the Last Call sale on the homepage as some people were having trouble finding the trail of breadcrumbs... it's under Shopping and then under Special Jackpots if you don't click on the TV in the main page. The home page is the Main Casino, Shopping has all the stuff we sell, Showrooms are all the entertainment pages INCLUDING the space ships that were the January home page that many people have lamented the loss of... the Christmas page is there as well as many new pages such as Circus, Teddy Bears Picnic, Tunnel of Love, etc. Wedding Chapels include the Church of Elvis, Church of Spam, Church of the Holy Flamingos and Bowling Balls and the Meditation Chapel (THOUSANDS of people got married in Las Vegas on Valentine's Day... the lineup at the County Office for marriage licenses went on forever). Mail Art Gallery includes Mail Art Calls, Featured Artists, etc. Resources includes the Angel List, Retail Store List, etc., etc. I've used a frame for the MenuBar so it's always at the bottom of any page you're on for easy navigation... I realize my headings may be a bit obtuse in my desire to make them relate to Las Vegas so hope this guide helps somewhat. There's a lot to see and do there so I hope you'll find them time to explore the nooks and crannies of my warped mind er, I mean my Web Page at www.stampo.com and I HIGHLY recommend your downloading Internet Explorer 4.01 if you haven't yet. It's a great browser... a three hour download though so you may want to do it at night... and you get a preview of Windows '98 with it which I LOVE. It makes your desktop the same as the Internet. Also Comic Chat and NetMeeting which are wild! IE can be used with any ISP... AOL or whatever and is WAY ahead of any other browser available IMO. I've heard the IE AOL offers the download on is a "lite" version of IE so it's worth getting the full version (downloadable from my Web Page or MSN's site). And finally, I have a link in my signature to the MSN Arts & Crafts Forum... you DO have to be an MSN subscriber to get to this link but if you are using MSN, it's worth checking out. LOTS of great stuff there and a chat on Monday nights... Hi, CCCC'ers, I just got back from my vet with our 5-month old kitten, DexterLynn. You'd never believe what she ate . . . a 2-1/2" sewing needle!!!! She had been acting strange for about 2 days when I called the vet on Saturday to get an appointment. At that time I had not idea why she was laying around, sneezing, coughing. I thought she just caught a cold. The vet was extremely busy and I happened to be able to schedule the last opening available for today (Monday) at 5:00 p.m. I got there and the vet took her temp and she had a 103 fever. He pulled her over, looked into her eyes and then into her mouth. OMG! There was a needle stuck in the back of her throat. He and his assistant tried to get it out, but she was struggling with them. He had to give her anesthesia. I left the room while they were doing the removal because I had my two kids with me. They're only 4 and 6 and I didn't want them to see this. He said the needle was stuck right up through the soft palate of her mouth and right into her sinuses. He said they kept pulling the needle down and it didn't seem like there was an end to it. Finally they got to the end and pulled it out. I thought it might be nice if a few CCCC members sent thank you notes to him for taking care of her. I'm sure he'll be telling the story of DexterLynn, the little orange and white kitten who swallowed the 2-1/2" sewing needle, for a long time. Dr. Potter Vernon Veterinary Hospital, P.A. P.O. As usual you did an exemplary job, going beyond the call of duty. Elaine made a darling mini Christmas shaker card. A fireplace with Santa's feet dangling in the hearth, which is also the shaker window, it's filled with silver confetti. Ruth made a fun Mickey Mouse shaker card. Mickey's ears are cut out and filled with Mickey confetti. Christine made an exotic summer shaker card. The shaker window is filled with tropical confetti and the window is framed by an embossed image of hibiscus, seashells, a margarita, a flamingo, a beach umbrella and more. What's also interesting is that she used glue to create bubbles and eyes for the flamingo and fish. Mary created a sweet card with a little boy dressed to go fishing. He's looking at a window filled with fish confetti and little tiny beads. It's also stamped with a fish and Wishes Do Come True. Very darling and I like the glitter. Last but not least, Paula Jo Green made me laugh. The card is oh so rude. The theme is beans. Excuse me...It's the Frijoles! is stamped on the cover with the appropriate images (RubberBabyBumper's Buns, Nauceaus British boy, Small Puff) stamped below the message. Inside is a jar of real beans. Very clever in a naughty way! **What I learned from this swap: Fun Foam makes a great substitute for foam board plus you can choose a color that goes with the rest of the images.** Thanks, Rosemarie (creator of the SW mini shaker card) This message was from rsmith - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Hi, Sorry to go off on a tangent like this. But, I never had a dog before. We got a Golden Retriever Puppie for Christmas. She weighs 36lbs. now. And I know even though she's big and will get bigger, She is still a puppy. But, I'm worried. She just came over to me and spit out one of her teeth. I can see where it came from in her mouth. I'm just wondering if this is normal. Do they loose their baby teeth like us? Thanks For Answering. "Worried Momma" Mariann - -- When ordering from S.C.P. Stamps E-Mail ads.
