YAY!!! From Sue Middleton: Done on black glossy cs, she glued 1/2 a square paper doily creating a lacy napkin look. She stamped a teapot and 2 teacups on yellow linen (where did you get that yellow linen?? I want to carry it!!!) On the teacups, there are cherries which Sue has done with red 3-d lacquer. Then she stamped "Tea for Two" on red linen (OK, where did you get that one too??). The yellow teacups/teapot are mounted with 3-D mounting tape over the black. What a stunning card!!! From Thea Boschma: Great card! Done in neutral tones... she stamped a large teacup with a rose on Birch cardstock, embossed it in gold glittery ep, and colored it with interference paints. Then she mounted that over a lithographed rose wrapping paper (?) and mounted that on another piece of birch cs. She added a gold bow at the top. The inside has a package of peach tea for me to enjoy! I love this card!!! From Dot McQuade: Another gorgeous card! Dot used a natural cardstock and stamped Magenta's teacup frame. She colored it using chalk. In the center of the frame, she mounted a "T-4-2" postoid all done in glittery!! The whole thing is mounted on a card of Brittany Green duplex (I know where you got that!! ) From Cathy Ball: "Let's have tea" is stamped all over a kraft card, in red and brown. On top is Penny Black's "a hearty cup of tea" stamp featuring a cute little teacup filled with hearts. Cathy colored each heart a different shade... even one with red glitter!! Very cute card!! From Kathy McCaffrey: Beautiful card done on gold cardstock. She had to drink up lots of tea to make these cards because she used an actual tea box as part of her design!! She also included a package of Bigelow tea for me to enjoy, which is tucked into a pocket made from the tea box. Eva Koyona (our hostess) included a sweet little laminated piece that says "There are few hours in life more agreeable than afternoon tea". When I got home he met me at the door asking "who in the world would send something like this through the mail?" I nearly fell on the floor laughing when he showed me a plastic Mardi Gras cup my friend Vicki the Cajunstamper had sent. She punched a hole in the cup and attached a string with a tag and addressed it to me and mailed it. The tag is beautifully stamped and embossed with a Mardi Gras Maskl I tried to explain to him the kind of sweet, nutty things stampers do for /to each other but all he could say is " you and those rubberstampers are going to go to jail for messing with the post office." Is it just my husband or are men kind of short in the humor department (rubberstamping males excluded of course)? Thank you Vicki for bringing joy and laughter to my house. My daughter is still trying to convince me she needs to take this to school for show and tell. Do you think her teacher would get it???? I forward them to as many addresses as I can come up with based on the sending and relay addresses. If you use eudora you can hit the blah blah blah button which turns on all the extra header stuff. If you look through all the net junk you can often see where the mail actually originated. As an example I included all the header stuff from your original e-mail below. You can see how it left aol, as well as your return e-mail addy. Many spammers aren't smart enough to fake out the system properly, so it can be easy to find them, even if the return e-mail addy is fake. Then forward the original message with as much header stuff as is available, along with this citing of the Federal regulations. I picked this wording up from a newsgroup ages ago. I use addresses like abuse@ fraud@ postmaster@ inserting the domain name after the @. Hope this helps. I've actually had several responses from domains informing me of action which was taken, such as removal of accounts etc... Good luck. Juliet Postmaster, This unsolicited advertisment came into my email box today. Please take the appropriate action to see that this kind of spam doesn't happen again from your site. Below is the Federal regulation regarding illegality of such an offense. By US Code Title 47, Sec.227(a)(2)(B), a computer/modem/printer meet the definition of a telephone fax machine. By Sec.227(b)(1)(C), it is unlawful to send any unsolicited advertisement to such equipment, punishable by action to recover actual monetary loss, or $500, whichever is greater, for each violation. If I receive another such spam from your site I will prosecute. $500 may not seem like much to you at first, but think along the lines of a class action suit...at $500 per offense. Still think it's worth it? Yes, there certainly is less Mac software and I often complain about that. However, since about November, I've upgraded Adobe, Pagemaker, Illustrator, Photoshop from the LE version, MS Word, and bought several font management, font programs, etc. All in all about a $1000 worth. Guess it's a really good thing there isn't more available, or I'd really be broke.
