The only thing that I had to be careful of when I embossed the image was not putting the heat gun too close to the ribbon. I have a Milwaukee, and the ribbon shrank, curled up, and got distorted when it got too hot. But when I heated the ribbon from up high away from it, it came out fine. Dick/My New Stamps Swap Descriptions Thanks Kimberlee for hosting this swap. It was fun sharing my new stamps with others. I received the following cards: Bonnie Garby made a very cute card on light blue cardstock with a darkerblue cardstock layered on top with white cardstock layered on top of that with a fish scene stamped on it. One of the fish and a couple of the seaweed plants are 3d. I love the ink colors Bonnie used. Heather Reilly made a cute card out of white glossy cardstock with teal cardstock layered on top and yellow cardstock layered on top of that with a butterfly stamped on it. The butterfly has glitter on the wings. The teal and white cardstock are cut with fancy scissors but I'm not sure what pattern. Nancy Winn made a card with the cutest mice flying by holding on to a dragonfly. This is on white cardstock which is layered on speckled cardstock. I love the mice! Kim Albert made a cute card with teddy bears on the front. They look like they are going on a picnic. There are butterflies over their heads. Inside is says "love makes life more bearable". Carol Brown made an adorable card out of hunter green cardstock with checkered paper layered on top that has apples in some of the squares. There are three apples layered on top of the card. There is alsosome pretty thin see-through paper with flecks in it between the card and the apples. I really liked this card - It makes such a wonderful all-occassion card!
