The time passed all too quickly! It was like Christmas over there. Left with all kinds of patterns, stamped images, and supplies that Maralee and Bev had collected. We - of course - already have plans to get together again. The mail today was Great as well. Actually it was a double delight! I was at Bev's when her mail came and got to participate in all the oohs and ahs as she opened her great mail. I won't tell them, Bev, that your mail man has to use a small front-end loader to haul your mail from the truck to your house! Got home to my house and waiting for me were the cards from the Chocolate Swap and my EP grab bag from Jutta (I swear - I think I only ordered it yesterday!). Very cool colors! I love them! .. and my Marvy stamp cleaner! Thanks Jutta! Yesterday I received my paper order from Clarice from Paper Palet. Beautiful confettis. I had received some of these in an earlier sampler from Clarice and used them up! I just love these colors! My package arrived quickly from Hawaii too. Mailed March 16th and got it March 19th! Well Anno, since I did read to the end of your message, I know that you tried it and it works. The owner of my local stamp store tried mixing it with UTEE and it worked beautifully. She made some very pretty colors. The duo powders are cool. I used the red-blue to brush over a pigment ink stamped phrase. When you angle the card one way you see the red(actually more of a pinkish color), when you angle it the other way you see the blue. The two colors don't combine. I finally know the answer to one of the "how to" questions!!! Puffed embossing powder doesn't really "puff" up, but gives a texture grainier (such a word?) than regular embossing powder. Liquid applique, on the other hand, puffs up as in filled with air! I've tried the puffing embossing powder, and am not thrilled with it, but always love the liquid applique. By the way, you don't have to wait 24 hours to let it dry...you get a different puffing if you heat it right away...more little puffs...I've tried the air drying first, but I like the "instant" puffing better. These cards are great!!! Pam - She brayered the front and mounted to screaming women yelling "I'm dogmeat!!!" Inside she had a pop-up of a woman sitting at the computer saying she forgot to put TAN in the subject line. Betsy - She stamped a calendar and screaming woman. And yes, these dates come up on us fast! Francine - She stamped screaming faces in a row on the front. Inside it says "Don't bother to scream". No name - On green cs is a piece of homemade green paper. Mounted on it is a postage stamp and a stamped screaming woman. AlphaBecky - This is a collage card of a screaming woman and Seinfeld characters. Gives me a collage idea. Neat! Susan aka CoffeeStamper **God hasn't called me to be successful.
