That was exactly the way I was feeling. I was just a royal bitch to live with and my kids got the brunt of all my anger and depression. I, too went through a divorce, and a nasty one too. The only thing that differs in our stories is that I went to my gyn and TOLD her what was happening and how I was feeling and she told me there was nothing wrong with me. Well a month later, after drinking alot of alcohol and getting in fights with everyone around me, I did the drastic thing and tried to take my life. I didn' t succeed, thank god, but it did steer me in the direction I needed. I found a great primary care physician who recognized my depression and started me on Zoloft. I take a low dosage 50mg, once a day, and boy does it make a difference. So, I guess the whole point of MY story is to let people know that SJW is available over the counter and you are basically treating yourself, which is fine for some people but not for all. It does work, Robin is proof and my best friend is proof, but for those of us who like the idea of taking a prescription medication that there is medical evidence for, SEE YOUR PHYSICIAN !!!! I did, and I and my kids are much better off for it! Love and hugs to you and yours ! (I only have Fabrico in black, green, and red.) I tried using colorbox for backgrounds. Since you put a glaze on these little books after they shrink, it worked well. In fact since the colorbox is a pigment ink, it worked very well. Also when the "covers" come out of the oven (baking just works best for me to shrink the plastic) I put a book (like a paper back) on them and it helped to keep the edges from curling that little bit that they may tend to. - --Sue This message was from "The Bentley's" - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. I bought some of this, took it for 3 days and said "this isn't doing any good" and quit. Now I know I need to take it for awhile before it really works. I've been under some VERY intense stress lately and it hasn't gotten any less stressful for me in the past 2 weeks. I'm a worry wart and can't go to sleep at night. Terrible insomnia. (BTW does anyone know anything that will help insomnia??) I've been off the List for a couple of weeks, but decided maybe if I sit and read the List mail at night I'd get tired and could sleep, so I'm back. Besides I really did miss you all! Also, is anyone setting up things for the May Denver RS Convention? I need that fun day! We have to have dinner somewhere. Whoever is arranging for us meeting up together let me know the details please. :) I'm gonna have company during that time.....Jody Morrison...can't wait! hugs becky-bear _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. I was lookin' through my EA catalog today, and noticed this stuff (Fanci Kwik Stencil Paste) for first time. it calls it an "adhesive based substance".. but.. what it is, is white stuff in a jar that you smear on paper with a.. um.. stuff-smearer. like a popcicle stick or somethin' more spendy with fancy name that does same thing. That seems to be the same concept as the whipped paper stuff.. yes? is this the same stuff with different name? is 7.95 for 4oz jar comparable price? I read in whichever magazine 'bout this whipped paper stuff and thought.. I can't do that.. I don't need that stuff. I still don't think I need it, but what they do with this other stuff in the EA catalog is almost cool.. and.. even if is not the same stuff, I don't see why you couldn't do it with the other stuff too.. what they've done is smear it on the paper overtop a brass stencil, so's.. well, it works like a stencil is spozed to, so when you lift it up, then is the white stuff, where the stencil holes were. then when it was dry, they colored one of 'em, the other one is pine trees, and they did on black paper and just left 'em white.. pretty cool lookin', actually. I might even could do this. you think is same stuff? it says apply as thick or thin as you like, sticks to wood, clay pots, tile, glass, paper, almost anything. wonder if this stuff can get washed? doesn't say. probably not, huh? wonder what it feels like when is dry? that's big part of why I don't like liquid applique.. it feels.. strange.. wonder, if you plopped some paperclay inna blender with some water or glue or both or somethin' and blended it up good, would it turn into whipped paper fluff stuff? anno (full up of wonderings..) Thanks Jackie! Jackie sent me a darling card with a teddy bear stamped, cut out, and attached to a card with decorative edges and stamped with a sunburst. But that wasn't all! She filled the envelope and card with goodies!!! There was confetti in there, and a sample of wallpaper, and a piece of tulle (totally perfect size!) and a beautiful piece of glossy marbled cardstock. Where did you find this cardstock, Jackie? I MUST have some according to the stamper law of acquisition! Thank you again SOOOO much :) I love getting mail!
