The word "Hello" is written in large, bold letters, then around the letters, there are smaller sized phrases like "How's it going?", "Thinking 'bout you!", "Hola", "Bonjour", "Whatcha been up to?", etc. 5587I Thanks - Large, 7.65, this is similar to the "hello" stamp, but this one says "THANKS!" all around with bold hearts, and "I really appreciate it!" - ------- From Eccentricks (see note below for FREE Eccentricks catalog offer): The following are stamps from their Penguin line (you can check out their web site at http://www.eccentricks.com - I think some of these stamps can be viewed there): D2736 Small Floe (chunk of ice in the water), 5.40 E2947 Splash (of water) - good for fish jumping out (B2155 Jumpin Fish, 4.05 works well), 5.85 F2499 Paddlin' Penguin - Penguin sitting in inflatable ring, sipping on something cold to drink, 5.85 F2505 Swimmin' Penguin - Penguin w/sunglasses, either been swimming or getting ready to swim, 5.85 F2587 Dippin' Penguin - Penguin dipping his head in water, can only see his behind, 5.85 H2492 Iceberg - goes well with C2512 Peggy Penguin, 4.95, who is sitting and eating watermelon) These stamps are fun for making your own "chilly" scene. I made a dissolving scene card once with the Swimmin' Penguin and the iceberg in one "scene" and then when you pull open the card, I had the Dippin' Penguin and the iceberg so it looked like the Swimmin' Penguin had just jumped into the water. If you would like a selection of stamps and are not able to view them on the internet, I could make a "grab bag" selection for you and will include a FREE catalog (shipping & handling charges still apply). Eccentricks non-Penguin stamps: K2244 Story book, 12.60 (about 5" x 2-1/2"), can be used for creating your own storybook theme or for use in your scrapbooks. This is a nice coffee cup image. She cup this out and mounted it over brown mulberry paper and craft-color paper on white confetti cs. Along the bottom of the card she scattered what looks like coffee grounds, nice effect. Suzanne Reynolds: stamped a large coffee cup in brown on craft-colored cs. Standing in the middle of the coffee is a man scrubbing his back with a towel and a big grin on his face - LOL. This is layered over dark brown corrugated cs and the background has embossed coffee beans randomly strewn all over it. The front of the card says "you're the cream in my coffee". Great card! Nancy Green: stamped one of my favorite images, a good morning coffee cup with steam rising from it. She colored it in using watercolors. This is stamped on white cs and cut out with decorative scissors. This is layered over black corrugated cs, also with the same edging and layered on red cs. The inside of the card has a saying "is it coffee yet?" stamped in black over a background of small coffee cups stamped in red on white cs. Susan Benedict: another favorite image "coffee is my best friend" has been embossed in a pretty gold w/black specks ep on cream cs. Cut out with a deckle edge, this saying is layered over a darker cream colored cs which has been stamped all over with different names of flavored coffees. Again this has been layered on top of darker craft colored confetti cs. Antpam: she has stamped and colored an image of a coffee cup w/matching saucer, sugar cubes and a spoon laying below it. Above the image it says "expresso yourself". The image is bordered in a checkered frame with vine/leaves surrounding it and a cup in each corner. This whole framed image is cut out and mounted over white confetti cs which has been randomly stamped with bags of coffee. The inside says "and the milk of human kindness shall be call Cappucino, Percolations: 2cps". Okay, where did you get this saying. I love it! Another great swap and very nice cards. I enjoy using them for references and ideas. There are times where someone will post that they are giving away a bunch of cards they've saved from swaps in years past. I do plan on using the cards I receive or I may send them to family to use. As far as making cards. Make them and pass them along! You'll soon find your imagination going wild. I've only been stamping since November and already my creativity has expanded. BTW, did you ever get your questioned answered about what envy's were? I had e-mailed you a response, but it bounced because your box was full, thus my Cc this to the list. I just got a beautiful card from Ellie Cassatt. Bear with me on the description because I am new at this. A pretty speckled cs with some purple and mauve background pattern (how did you do that?). There is a clear oval shape in the middle surrounded by flowers stamped in purple and blue, and gorgeous glitter. In the middle she has stamped "Cherish Yesterday, Dream Tomorrow, Live like crazy today." Soooo many clever people on this list! Phil sent templates of every size and descriptions, including the egg template, to make up the difference. What a different business concept, a lot of something extra for a little something extra. He even sent a large plastic sheet that makes a great work surface for stamping and folding. Thank you Phil for all the extras and such speedy service. The mail person also brought a package containing Marvey permanent ink cleaner from Jutta at Hood Enterprises. This package arrived almost before I submitted the order--in other words, fast, fast, fast. I owe you Jutta and it is on the way. Thanks again for great service.
