These are the instructions from a class I took over the weekend from Craft Connections, they gave us the OK to re-print and share these instructions. CRAFT CONNECTION EASTER EGG CARD Supplies: C-Thru Oval & Circle Frame Template Impress Jet Black Ink Pad Printworks Polka Dot Stencil WhipperSnapper Chick Stamp - -022 Marvy Small Heart Punch Ribbon - White SC01 Sponge Daubers Colored Pencils Purple Encore Metallic Ink Pad Using the C-Thru template, Oval & Circle Frames, draw two small ovals on colored paper and cut out to form eggs. Cut two 5/8" slits vertically, approximately 1/4" apart in the center of each oval egg. Stamp the WhipperSnapper Chick stamp near the bottom of one of the eggs and color with pencils. Using Printworks polka dot stencil, sponge daubers and a purple Encore Metallic Pad, stencil polka dots on the outside of both eggs. Move the stencil around to place dots closer together. Holding the egg shapes on end, sponge the edge with the purple ink. Also, sponge the ink onto a piece of paper and punch out a purple heart shape. Lay the eggs side by side with the inside down. Thread the ribbon between the slits of both eggs. The ribbon will be used to close the egg. Make an envelope using the pattern below on white text weight paper. Glue the envelope to the inside of the egg to hold money or a special message. Close it with the punched out heart. Tie the ribbon in a bow to close the card. These instructions were copied word for word, so feel free to use them any way you want and vary with what you have available to you!!! If anyone wants a copy of the instructions that includes the envelope pattern, please contact me privately, I will ask for a SASE to return it to you. Love and hugs and have fun!!! One of my favorite games (I neeed to get a life!): I put a row of mounted stamps on the edge of the table in front of my cat. He kinda leans back and eyes 'em for a second, then tentatively reaches out and touches one of them with one fuzzy paw. Then he touches it again, and it moves a bit! Then he pushes it off the table. Then he leans over and lokks at it for a minute on the floor. After being satisfied that it isn't going to do anything interesting, he goes back to the NEXT stamp and pushes IT off. And so on. He also chews on stamps, carries them off, and tries to disembowel big ones with his kicking back feet. I also happen to read trade magazines in the food manufacturing field as part of my job (I DON'T work for P&G, however), so here is what I understand about Olestra, the "stuff" in WOW chips: Chemists took a molecule of soybean oil and modified it, adding fatty acids (I THINK) to it. The resulting molecule shape is so dense that your body's digestive agents can't get at the "joint" where they normally break apart the molecule (can you tell I'm not a scientist?) and digest it. Therefore it just slides through your system. I think the fact that it is not digested is what causes some of the problems on "the other end". For reasons I don't know, Olestyra also has been shown to inhibit your body's ability to absorb some kinds of nutrients. Anyway, the reason Olestra-made foods taste/look/feel greasy or fatty is that Olestra IS a fat. Personally, I do experience some of the problems associated with Olestra, but that may be exacerbated by the fact that I don't eat just one serving at a sitting! LOL! Well, this was either mildly illuminating or WAY more information that you wanted! - -- Mandy :-) This message was from ArtisanAJ - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Several years ago I was injured in a auto accident. My neck was in traction and I looked up to see this creepy spider dangling in front of my face. I thought I was going to hang myself trying to get away from it. Brenda At 05:51 PM 4/2/98 EST, DebutARTe wrote: > I have to agree with all the spider haters. Like I could not have imagined seeing Independence Day on a television screen and having gotten the same enjoyment from it. It is the overhelming size of things that put you in the movie. Not that I am putting these two films in the same class...and to speak to the persons that said "Why go to a movie when you already know the ending"NOT with this film you didn't. Oh yes sure you knew that the ship sank, but that was the beginning of the movie, not the ending.
