I could have given this more thought in the beginning, it's been kinda spendy on my end, as I decided I couldn't just stick these things in normal envys or they'd arrive mangled.. so.. I bought padded mailers and I hope they get there safely.. but I probably shoulda asked for more postage if nothing else.. shoulda figured they'd be more bulky and delicate than most. some of you sent extra postage, that'll be a help and I thank you! some of you sent extra card for me, and/or extra goodies, and I thank you for that too! one of you didn't send any postage at all.. but I'm sure was an oversight.. one of you sent 23 cents postage.. rofl! I'm sure that was a shufflin' mishap too! one of you sent an envy for returning 'em in, but I can't get 'em in there! so I'ma send it back so you can use it for another swap. anyway, off they go.. be on the lookout for 'em! I hope you enjoy! please, when you get them.. describe 'em for us, 'k? Up in the right corner she stamped and embossed seagulls, and they look as if they are in the distance. In the lower left corner is a butterfly, stamped and embossed on sticker paper (I think). The center of the card is a butterfly man, with the butterfly part forming knee high boots with 2 wings, and using the back wings to fly. Yes, I think all things in your life are affected by each other. Does that make sense? In this context, of course your sex life would affect your art. I just don't think you have to share *exactly* what affects it! I don't think you can have art without experience, which is why I am not yet an "artist" in my own eyes. My own personal opinion. True. I had the same experience .... only she didn't send back my extras ... even though there were about 50. When she *insisted* on hosting this round, I told her to keep them ... but now I want them back. And I don't believe that 50 people out of 100 dropped out the first time round. I just don't believe it. I've hosted large swaps, and had a 20% drop-out rate, but never 50% ... And if there *was* a large-drop out rate, it's likely for the same reason they're dropping out now: Poor communication, e-mails not answered .... Ant Judy H. >>I don't think it's as much a case of "cliques" as it is expectations not being met twice by the same person. Moreover, I sent 100 pages to the first swap, along with five dollars. I received under 50 of other people's pages in a priority mailer with three dollars postage. When I inquired about my extra pages, I was told I had FIVE left. Unfortunately, I am NOT an isolated case. - -- God may be my co-pilot, but the devil's my bombardier. (Mars)<< Hahahaha!! Then, I guess you've never read the Solomon's Song of Songs!!! This is one of the books of Wisdom in the Christian Bible (both Protestant and Roman Catholic) ... and it is wisdom's description of an amorous relationship. The Bible ..."speaks of both wisdom and love as gifts of God, to be received with gratitude and celebration.... views the Song as a linked chain of lyrics depicting love in all its spontaneity, beauty, power and exclusiveness -- experienced in its varied moments of separation and intimacy, anguish and ecstasy, tension and contentment. The Song shares with the love poetry of many cultures its extensive use of highly sensuous and suggestive imagery drawn from nature." (Quote taken from the intro to Solomon's Song of Songs, The New International Version, Study Bible). BTW, a survey, done some years ago by Good Housekeeping magazine, concluded that devout Christian women were (percentage wise) the most orgasmic, sexually fulfilled respondents to their survey. Sorry, I can't give you the details, i.e., issue or volume # of the magazine ... just going by memory. Ant Judy H.
