It seems that people still don't understand that having pets reduces stress in our lives. There are organizations that take pets to nursing homes for visits, organizations that train dogs to work with handicapped children and adults; and also organizations that train dogs to work with the blind. Try checking out these places in your area or in a larger city if you live in a small town. I can't help you with the names of these organizations, but call the newspapers, organizations such as the Lions, and anyone you can think of to ask. Good luck - it really hurts to think you'd have to put Daisy down! I have several filters set up on the free version of Eudora. For the most part, they work well, but sometimes I cannot, for the life of me, figure out WHAT I'm not doing correctly! The latest is, and I got this idea from this list, is that I decided to filter the AD and COMM posts into an advertising mailbox. I have tried "subject" and "any header" in the "header" section; contains "RS" and "AD" - and on a separate filter - - contains "RS" and "COMM" and it doesn;t seem to work. IS there a limit as to how many filters you can run? That's the only thing I can think that might be wrong. The help info is severely lacking. Do I need to purchase the full blown version of Eudora? Great program, just frustrating sometimes. TIA . . . Nicki B. This message was from "Nicki B." - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Sure thing there are lots ya can do with the scraps ;-) I save them all too LOL! First you can HALOS some to use as "abstract" shapes, great for backgrouns, really kewwwwl!!! Once someone else here on the list also suggested we fill up a balloon with the smaller scraps and then ink that thingie and use for background purposes ;-) It's cool too though a bit of work is involved in filling up the balloon... hey, you can do that when you're TIRED of stamping, 'K? LOL! I hope someone else has more ideas to share? ;-) Love and sunshine always, Stampcas :-) xo galore! - ---------- De: BurningRubber[SMTP:burningrubber2@yahoo.com] Enviada em: Domingo, 26 de Abril de 1998 03:56 Para: rubberstampers@crafts.dm.net Assunto: RS:RE:Garbage rubber?Tip too! Does anyone have any ideas on what to do withe the scraps of rubber that are left when your done cutting out your UM's? Just wondering. I was cutting them out the other day and saved the scraps, thought it is a shame they cant be recycled in some way. Freaked me out...never in my life before rubber stamping have I thought about recycling:) I've become the kind who saves everything! I even punched out some great confetti from shrink plastic left overs that would be great in shaker cards-the tiny shapes are adorable and I even cut out around the shapes and baked those too. Now I have all kinds of cute stuff for embellishing and filling shaker cards! == Naughty Newbie Seeks Rubberstanding -------- }INK ME{ @@@@@@@@ _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
