I can tell you that Sandra sure uses that mat board to make great mail art! Yesterday in the mail I rec'd my first piece from the January Birthday Sibs Mail Art Exchange. It's just beautiful! On black mat board, Sandi created a postcard with southwestern motives: the background has metallic webbing paint (it looks like) in silver and coppery gold; the dominant image is embossed in silver-- a set of 3 stylized pots (is this your line art, Sandi?); there's also a lizard embossed in verdigris slinking up toward those pots; a gold coin and three colorful coco shell/heishi type beads complete this striking composition. This went straight up onto my inspiration board. Any idea what the words on the coin mean, Sandi? AVAS CO BEPSIG? At any rate...thank you for the lovely un-birthday wishes!
