In Old Town you will find Stampaholics...a wonderful place on Juan St. Can't miss it. You walk out of Old Town and up Juan to a group of shops and there it is. The Laurel Burch store is upstairs and its near the Juan Street side. I don't know east or west but the Old Town area isn't that big so walking isn't impossible. There's also a neat kitchen place in Old Town and several good restaurants. Upstart Crow is a wonderful place to sit and relax for a few minutes. The drinks are delish. The stamp store in Seaport Village isn't worth your time. Its very small and the most that they have are different embossing powders. But...if you're into country "stuff" then there's a great country shop right next door to the stamp store. Its definitely worth one's time. Have a good time. Well, he got it and I could see her twice a month for the weekend. That was always stressful, picking her up. He always had something to hurt me, irritate me, excuses for her not to be able to come that weekend, things like that. I never got her for holidays, vacations, things like that. Then it got totally out of hand and he just kept her away from me, said I wasn't allowed to see her any more. The judge said he was allowed to do that. And the end (well, hopefully not) of the story is that I haven't seen her for 5 years now (she lives in another town an hour away). Haven't heard from her, nothing. I do keep writing her, sending her cards, things like that, but I'm certain she doesn't get them, that he keeps them away from her). Their phone number isn't listed, so I can't phone her. I've decided to give her peace, because all that had happened isn't good for her anyway, and not ry to force contact with her. It's hard, very, very, very hard, but I think it's best for her. She's 16 years old now and I hope that somewhere in the future she will contact me. When we got ready for bed we pulled down the covers and discovered that there was a very long black hair laying in the middle of the bed. I was grossed out. We didn't know if the bed had been slept in by someone else or what the story was. I had very short hair at that time so it obviously wasn't mine. We complained to the office and they had an "I don't care" attitude. We stayed because it was late and we were exhausted. We determined that the bed was clean as the sheets were crisp and all so we stayed another night. We left our cooler in our room and when we came back the housekeeper had gone through the cooler and eaten our lunch. We were mad. Again we complained and the management said that if we didn't have proof then he couldn't say anything to the housekeeper. Ugh...its always that way. We've been fortunate to not have jewelry taken. One time our son (he was 4-1/2 at the time) found a 1.75 liter bottle of vodka under the bathroom sink. The bottle had been wedged into the pipeworks. That was very interesting. I could go on but...I'll stop.
