It's from the USPO. Technically it's from the "Damaged Mail & Nixie Section" for my city PO. It was hand canceled in my city. Inside is a really fun TTPO from Tammy Sue Reynolds. It was nicely addressed, stamped, and hand canceled at Tammy's town. According to the cancellations, it took 5 days to get to my town and another to get to my desk. "Tacky"??!! I think not! Love her! A couple limbs/fingers/arms/whatever are a bit bent, but otherwise she's in fine shape. Now I have someone to guard my desk when I'm away from work. So..... anyone know what a "Nixie" is? And why does the PO need a whole section for it/them? Happy Stamping, W. I lost your special e-mail account address...could you please send it to me again? Now, I received this really GREAT package in the mail today! I loved the way the paper on the outside was decorated. My name in alphabet stamps (is that DOTS? DJ Inkers?) and the rest of the paper was covered with cute little hearts, buttons and patches. Very nice and made it look quite inviting!!! Inside, there was lots of stuff that I can't wait to use! First, there is this BIG wood mounted stamp by DOTS of a school bus, which I will definitely be using when I do my daughter's "First Day of School" page in her scrapbook. Stamps are so much cuter than those plain old die-cuts I've been using!!! The next thing I opened was a white paper lunch sack-type bag that had been decorated with little Christmas images and tied with a wine colored ribbon. Inside were several cards to give me some ideas...these were a real treat! My 2 favorites were the Happy Thanksgiving one and the little gift tag (a snowman with flocking on it). Now that I know what the flocking turns out like, I'm gonna have to get some...it is too cool!!! Next, I opened this little wallpaper envy that had been tied with another piece of ribbon and found the cutest oval-shaped pin made with Envirotex...something else I'm gonna have to try...where do you get this stuff??? Anyway, the pin has a sandcastle stamped in the background, and in the foreground is a cute little gal in a pink dress standing on the beach and at her feet are 2 seashells (REAL seashells). This was all "sealed" under the Envirotex and then that was mounted onto a piece of eggplant colored cardstock. Very cute! I also got 2 gift bags, one white and one purple, do decorate however I want. We have lots of gift-giving occasions coming up in the next few months, so these won't go to waste! Underneath that I found a stack of small white lunch sack type bags and another stack of larger ones. There are so many things I can use these for it isn't even funny...thank you! Under that is a BUNCH of plastic decorative party favor type bags. Again, I will definitely be able to use these in the upcoming months for making and giving all kinds of special gifts. At the very bottom of the box was one completed handmade envy and 3 already cut out for me to fold (and use as templates). Please, please, please...tell me where you got this paper. It is really pretty. It is Christmas (hollies w/berries) but it is kind of a layered paper...the top part with the images is textured...the bottom part is plain white paper to give the top some stability. I can't begin to thank you enough, SS. You made my day! Your card said that this was a "simple" gift, but it was far from simple. It is far more than I ever expected. I love it and will use every single thing. And thank you especially for sending so many "samples" to give me ideas. I need all the help I can get!!! BTW, you must have a TON of stamps!!! Every thing you made was different! Well, I gotta go... don't forget to send me your special e-mail addy again, ok?
