The first issue Autumn 1997 is 48 pages of wonderful card and scrapbooking page pictures. Each card, scrapbook page, or other item such as a jacket, stocking, etc., have full descriptions of what exactly was used to create it. There are also 6 exclusive stamps that are for sale in the magazine. Also included with this first issue (and I think something similar in the subsequent issues) were *8* papers. They are great for Christmas stuff. I will be selling subscriptions of 4 issues for $45 or each individual issue as they come out for $14.95. This is well worth it. I am so happy to finally see a publication that is not solely card/etc. or solely scrapbooking but is for the enthusiast of both. I think even more stampers will be interested in how they can combine their stamping into a scrapbook that they can pass on to their children. Let me know if you would like to place an order for a subscription or for just the Premier copy. I expect I will be placing an order weekly for this. If you place a subscription order with me, I will also mail to you an incentive stamp that I give to those who attend my demonstrations. This is a fabulous publication and well worth the money! Check out the full story at: http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/9709/01/germany.diana.ap/index.html BONN, Germany (AP) - Bild Zeitung, Germany's largest circulation newspaper, published a front-page photograph Monday that appears to show bodies inside the wrecked car of Princess Diana and her companion. The photograph, taken apparently a few meters (feet) from the largely undamaged back of the car, shows what could be one or two slumped bodies but their features are not recognizable. Only what seem to be back of their heads are visible. Other published photos have shown the wrecked car from a distance, with no bodies visible. An editor at the photo desk of Bild said the newspaper bought the photograph "from an agency in Paris." The editor, who only gave his last name, Westing, declined to say whether the photo came from paparazzi that had been pursuing Princess Diana's car when it crashed early Sunday in Paris. Seven photographers have been detained for questioning by French police. "We have one or two more. We bought them from an agency in France. We can't sell them further," the Bild photo editor said of the photographs. "We paid a lot of money for them," he said. Asked if the newspaper planned to run more photographs of the scene, he said, "That we don't know, this could run a long time." The uncredited color photograph shows at least two rescuers reaching inside the Mercedes that had been carrying Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed, her companion. The driver of the car also was killed, while a bodyguard was seriously injured. The rightside yellow blinker on the Mercedes seems to have been flashing when the photograph was taken. Bild has a circulation of more than 4 million copies a day. ~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~ Come visit me at the Beary Patch! http://www.erols.com/chatty Fabulous Freebies and MORE! ~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~ This message was from Lisa - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum. Hi everyone, I've heard talk of the SARA and Rubbertown lists. What are these? Are they moderated? Does anyone have an address to get more info or to sign up for these lists? I'm sure other people are interested in these as well. I'd like to get as many tips and info as I can get on RSing. Hope to get info from someone soon! Thanks! I, too, am a single stamper. My kids think that I'm nuts and don't appreciate any of it (that's what happens with teen-age boys - they don't appreciate anything). I've been stamping for about a year and a half. During this time period I've gotten many others addicting to the stamping world as well. It's like an obsession with me - just can't get enough of those stamps and gadgets - always wanting more. I'm sure many of you can relate to that! Or at least I hope I'm not alone in that! I hope you all enjoyed the final long weekend of summer! School went back in session where I work last week so I'm back in the routine. My kids don't start until this Thursday. Lucky ducks!!! They're anxiously awaiting that as you can imagine (NOT!!!!). Happy Stamping!
