The package was perfect for me !!!! I was having a hard day today my 6 year started first grade and took the bus for the first time - which was pure hell to watch her get on a huge school bus and bang off she goes. So when I went down to get the mail I find a huge priority mail box waiting for me. I was just for me :) cause on it, it said Just for Mom :) I ripped it open and it was stuffed with tissue paper after removing the tissue paper I found the following: Im going to list this as I pulled them out- I hope I didn't forget to mention anything. 1. Wonderful !!!- Beautiful !!! - wallpaper a southwest type and then a great rose colored flowered type - I have the perfect stamps in mind for this.!!!!! 2. Inside the wallpaper ( which was rolled up) wrapped in tissue paper and gold cord around the tissue paper - Gold EP from Judi kins- now my SS must work at my local stamp store - cause I picked up this bottle 3 times this weekend and then decided not to get it. 3. An Envy template ( which I didnt have - I had a smaller one made out of cardboard and this weekend my three year old - cut it apart - ) My SS must also be a mind reader or has bugged my house. 4. A heavy object wrapped in tissue paper - Fiskars Paper Crimper !!! so she/he is a mind reader cause I was going to go to Michales tonight and get the overpriced crimped paper.!!!!!! 5. Another heavy object wrapped - Cardstock - tons of it already folded and cut ready to stamp in white, purple and greens and yellow- !!!! ( tissue paper was wrapped in a beautiful gold ribbon). 6. More paper - wrapped in tissue and a beautiful blue ribbon. Here I go now - - as I mangle the paper - I think that it's called mulberry paper - its green and feathery - just perfect and elegant !!!! another wonderful piece of paper - - its kinda purplish with like little wheat buds(?) in it--- beautiful paper this is very great for me - I love this paper I am trying to do layering now and this is wonderful. But I am hoarding it - to look at !!!! 7. A clear envelope/file holder that is full of stuff, all wrapped in tissue paper and wonderful. More cardstock in different patterns (?) - pretty paper in yellows, purples - weaved - textured papers. 8. 4 full sheets of sheer vellum - I have heavy vellum - I can't ever find the sheer around here - Thank you . 9. A cube stamp from Judi-kins with kids faces - I love it - it's cute and something that I can use for lots of different things!!!! 10. I think it's called a bone folder - I'm sorry I have read a bit about them but have never used one - but will cause I had my cards folded messy - Thank you !!! This was such a wonderful package to get for my very first SS round. I wish that I could really explain what lovely and wonderful things I received- because I can tell that my SS really used her/his heart to do this and it showed. Thank you SS- your'e the greatest one to have, I've been reading the other posts about SS packages and I have to say my package beats them all by a mile !!! I hope that you know that I'm so happy and thrilled to have this and to have you as a SS. Thanks so very much, so I'm going to go and crimp anything and everything - but the kids and the dog now and then I'm going to emboss everything !!!! If you turn the scissors and look down at them so you're looking at the silver blade part and the side of the handle (not the finger holes) there are two "wings" of plastic that stick out from the blade that are as long as the blade. One of the blades has a black arrow on it. If you follow the black arrow in and turn the scissors slightly, you can see a "slot" that you insert the corner into. This is where you line the paper up for one kind of cut, and for the other kind of cut, you push the paper past these ridges until it lines up with the raised edges of the "wing". The following message showed up in my mailbox three times this morning. It's shown as being from "rubberstampers@crafts.dm.net" ... so I'd think everyone who is a member of the rubberstampers e-mail list (about 500 of us), also got it ... Personally, I don't know Lori Olive, and I never sent her any post card ... and why would there be three messages of confirmation if I *did* ... do you suppose the system's going to generate a confirmation for each of the 500 people on the rubberstampers list? I also got one of Fran's cards. She used a HUGE stamp with two wild cats and a great tree (who makes this stamp??) loosely cut around it and mounted on a burgundy cardstock cut to the same shape. This was mounted on brown/copper cardstock which also had three accent pieces cut from wallpaper - great use for it!! Oakleymc started with a blue parchment paper and stamped a beautiful outdoor scene. A great leopard is walking in the foreground. The mountains that you stamped in the background are seamless!! Perfect composition for your scene! RubberZombee made a really cool card - so different! On brown cardstock, she stamped in black five different big cats, plus a great moth; then masked them and filled in every space by stamping the bold leaves from RSA - sometimes stamping without re-inking to vary the intensity. This was mounted on green cardstock and a tiny thin gold line drawn in for a frame. Oh, and the cats had the most subtle color added with colored pencils (I think). Such a neato card!! Barbara Corry stamped another huge tiger stamp on speckled cardstock and colored it in with pencils. This was then layered on orange, then green and finally on the same speckled cardstock. That is a wonderful stamp (who makes it, too??). Great color! Lynn Legge made a card that just screams "Nature". I love it! A close-up of a leopard sleeping on a branch is embossed in black on white cardstock. This was colored lightly with pencils or chalks. Then Lynne hand-tore the paper loosely around the image, mounted that on a great piece of brown paper with plant fibers in it. In opposing corners were small areas of embossed leopard spots and a raffia bow at the top left. A great earthy card!! Thanks to all the participants - another super swap to receive! - -- AlphaBecky greene10@mto.infi.net This message was from AlphaBecky - -- The rubberstampers mailing list is proudly sponsored by the Dueling Modems Arts & Crafts Forum.
